I was told that this park was really nice by my air bnb host. So I decided to check it out on the weekend and I was not disappointed.
It was a beautiful park that was well maintained. There's a wide selection of stuff for kids in the play area.
Great for walks with dogs too.
Immaculate park with brilliant facilities! The setting itself is picturesque..the grounds are maintained to a high standard too lots for smaller and older children to play on & a convenient café on site with a loo! Great place to visit with kiddos ☺️

Good play area has skate park shop gardens and walking trails toilets are very limited

Lovely place to relax and gather your thoughts. Great place for family and kids.
I'm so lucky to have this park on my doorstep. I'm in most days walking my dog. It's a popular dog walking venue and everyone is friendly. There are plenty of different trails to mix up your walks.
Loads of wildlife. The squirrels are plentiful and can be quite amusing. If you look carefully you might spot a kingfisher or the parakeets that have made the 0ark their home.
The parks team do a fantastic job of maintaining the park so it looks great all year.
The kids of Wallsend really have no excuse to say there is nothing to do, with the play area, walks, nature trails, skate park, basketball, tennis, cafe.. There's also regular activities on, or bands playing the bandstand.
A super park. Come visit :)
Lovely park for a day out, café available, skate park, tennis court, big playground for kiddies and a lovely walk around the park - there’s a duck pond along with a small river while you walk! Absolutely great!
