A ‘proper boozer’, not modernised just well maintained; my type of pub. The beer garden is an eclectic gem, complete with a black cab and caravan!
A friendly landlord and warm welcome. Cyril the Basset Hound, the landlord’s dog, also deserves a special mention.
Great pub with pool and jukebox. Friendliest staff but the wow comes from the gourmet food sooooooooo mouthwatering good I've gone back three times in a month
I was coming back from shell grotto and decided to have a paint of cold beer. This pub was on the way . Beer was very nice so was the lady behind the bar . The pub has a great vibe , nice selection of food and things to do to enjoy the time . It is clean place, nice toilet and really great people . Outside you have tables you can sit and enjoy your beer having a ciggie .
Darren arranged a buffet and to hold my dads wake. The food was amazing, staff friendly and a great venue. Thanks Darren and Co, dad would have loved it.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and with a warm open fire to add to the ambiance it's a must place to enjoy a drink or two. Kids will love the garden area and dog friendly as well. One if the best pubs in Thanet. Highly recommended
Not a bad place to go with basic clientel but a decent smoking area if you're a smoker like myself .
A great pub run by two new & enthusiastic landlords. I’m hoping for more a few more ales. It is one of my favourite pubs in Margate now. Friendly & warm staff.
We booked as a family of 4,we had 4 roast beef two if which was children roasts And then 3 pudding.The food was very nice and the price as reasonable in whole a very nice lunch.
Only thing that lets this place down is the lack of proper food tables and chairs but apart from that overall I give you 4 stats. Give them a try
