Stopped off here for a quick rest and cold drink next to the river. Had the bikes with us and the staff were more than happy to get the side gate open for us to get the bikes in safe too.
Friendly staff, felt nice and relaxed out on the deck, will definitely go back again
This was new experience as just moved to area. It was more spacious than I realised inside. Traditional lovely pub and wonderful staff. Had meal with my partner parents and they had nice time. Very filling good food. Nice variety. Would recommend laminating the paper menus. Clean and tidy but watch the door step into toilets. Small car park for few cars or on road.
We can't fault our meal at The Moorings. All 5 of had different meals and all 5 meals were extremely good, hot, generous and tasty. Compared to other restaurants the prices were good too. We already booked to return as we were so impressed. 5 stars, we'd definitely recommend it!
It was my 1st visit yesterday. But despite a late request for a table for people we were accommodated. From the owner to all of the staff. Everyone was polite and courteous. I will definitely be going back. I wish everyone at the moorings a very merry Christmas.
First time visiting this pub/restaurant and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly, it was clean and presentable and the food was delicious, the portions seemed huge, well cooked and great value for money. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Thanks to all of the staff.
Very nice experience , would 100 percent go back again. Dog friendly , very cosy , great staff ,great food. Only missed a star because my chips were slightly raw and my daughters hot chocolate was more like milk. That's being fussy and wouldn't put us off returning
Really enjoyed our Sunday roast. Good value. I had lamb and it was very tender.
Plenty of vegetables. Roast potatoes cooked lovely.
Had Sunday lunch here with my family. Friendly service, good food and pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend!
