We’ve been going to this chippy since we moved here it’s been our Friday night treat. Good portions sizes, golden fish and tasty chips and gravy. Always been a little bit more expensive however worth it.
Not so much now, small fish which is anaemic looking, portions small and now very expensive.
I think we will be finding an alternative from now on. Such a shame.
Not bad food however the service is poor with very long waits to take and receive orders. If you’re wanting a take out be prepared to wait outside for a good 20 - 30 minutes in all weathers. No apologies from staff or attempts to improve processes to reduce waiting times.
You can tell the difference between fresh and a few days old.....this fish must have been caught this morning.... beautiful taste and just melted in your mouth. That's why there's a queue at the door! ????
We go to this chippy every Tues, for tea,it's the best chippy I've ever visited,the portions are large and it's always busy,if you sit in,as we do we've always been served within 10 minutes,and the fish and chips have always been delicious.
Been going here for years, portion sizes smaller (I mean vastly reduced) to what they used to be. Staff really rude particularly one of them anyway, she was last time too so rude its ridiculous ???? I'm done, guy who used to be behind the counter has gone and its gone downhill rapid. Sad
