Some decent beer to be had. Visited just before Christmas and the heating was turned off. But it seems to be popular and on the circuit which is great.
Good pint and friendly lads behind the bar. Oh and a good crack with the end of the bar chappie lol. Deffo will return again
Great pub, proper old fashioned boozer and there aren't enough of these anymore!! Great pint and everyone is friendly from the patrons to the bar staff. Could easily make thus my local if I lived in the area.

My wife and I visited the Candlestick in Sept 2020 and had a lovely time here. The staff were very friendly, great service, great drinks, very good value for money. Would definitely come back here and recommend it to others.

Great pub with a good selection and friendly staff.
Doesn't matter if you enjoy real ale, lager, cider or spirits you will find plenty of options. Nice place to relax and close to the harbour or town.
Will keep going back when I'm in Whitehaven.
Best pint in town and run by two top guys. Friendliest pub you'll ever go to. I love it.
