Order every 2 weeks from Taza, always pleased but tonight food arrived, same order as always, £5.00 dearer than before. Called them to be told price increase. Poppadoms smashed to smithereens on opening. Not happy with this poor experience.
Wow, just has the nicest Indian meal I've had for a long time. Quality and freshness oozing out of it. Chicken tikka jalfrezi, perfect balance of flavours, rice so fragrant and spiced onions and pakors were fabulous. Literally cannot wait to work my way through the menu.... Fabulous
I ordered a chicken tikka biryani and lamb karahi which came to £18. I was quite disappointed with the meal. The biryani was soggy and I have never had soggy biryani in my life. I am not sure where they went wrong. Regarding the Lamb Karahi, it was not a karahi. Instead it was just another curry whereas karahi is usually dry and does not have much gravy. I felt bumped as I was eating the karahi. Furthermore the curry was extremely oily, I understand this is made on a commercial scale but the staff should really lower the amount of oil they use. At this amount of oil, your life expectancy will be halved. If the staff does not consider making these changes, I would probably avoid this place which is unfortunate as they have a lot of potential.
2 hour wait to be told x3 that it was 15 mins then it was on its way then it should he their, absolutely frozen the food is. Phoned back and told them i wanted my money back this was beyond a joke sat waiting on delivery man coming back absolutely raging. Why not say on phone it was busy etc!!
One of the most underwhelming takeout experiences i ever had. Shop was hygenic and food was freshly prepared in half hour but the flavours were simply AWFUL. The most tasteless pizza worse than supermarket's, it was thrown to the seagulls, lamb donor was equally bad. even the condiments ketchup, chilli and garlic sauces were watered down, cheapest and lowest quality and did not make the food palatable. After having their meal I am certain most of positive reviews here are their own marketeers and hold NO credibility...and the prices did NO justice to the food they offer. save yourselves from this abomination and look for some other options.
Friendly staff, Great portions, Traditional Food, Lamb tender in rich Boonha sauce. Starters fresh and tasty.Spicy garlic mushrooms in cheese was a meal on it's own. Will be back definitely. Free poppadoms a nice gesture. Thanks again
I don’t know what the food is like because I didn’t receive it. I phoned 3 times and was told it was on its way. 18.00 hours. After 1 hour I phoned to ask what had happened to my food. The girl said that the delivery guy called out to me in the pub and got no answer. seeing as I was stood in the doorway waiting, she was lying.
We are tourists in Ayr and that incident really ticked us off. If they didn’t have a driver then tell people.
