Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Wasn't drinking booze at the time but offered me soda water for free! Also met Billy who organises the local celtic supporters group. Very nice chap along with his friends.
Great little pub lady said entertainment on the weekend and bargain prices of drinks
NEW OWNERSHIP
Just been taken over about 2 weeks ago.
Pints were £2, must be a special offer... but there was karaoke on and was a good atmosphere.
Apparently going to be all about cheap beer and sports... Will be good for summer.
Only thing is... kids have to leave by 4-5pm so the barmaid told me when we asked about why the kids play area had been ripped out, it's no longer a child friendly pub.
Tally Ho, boozer, meeting point for soccer, away fan friendly before the game
It's funny how all of the reviews are old. Probably because the current management have decimated the amount of customers that they had
Lovely outside area and our dog was welcomed to we didn't have food so can't comment
Good old proper boozer. All booze is good and cheap, plenty of deals. Perfect before a Barrow match. Plenty of seats outside if weather is good. Get yourselves in and have a decent crack.
Friendly boozer for away fans, gobby little kids like, same as anywhere

Quick Facts About Tally Ho

Tally Ho Place, based on the comments, seems to have a few key strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, one comment mentions that the pub offered soda water for free, even though the person wasn't drinking alcohol at the time. This shows that Tally Ho Place is accommodating to customers who may not be drinking alcohol, providing them with alternative options.
Additionally, the comment mentions meeting Billy, who organizes the local Celtic supporters group. This indicates that Tally Ho Place is a meeting point for sports fans and can potentially create a sense of community for supporters of specific teams.
Another comment highlights the entertainment on the weekends and bargain prices of drinks. This suggests that Tally Ho Place provides a fun and affordable environment for customers to enjoy themselves.
The comment mentioning the new ownership indicates that Tally Ho Place has recently undergone a change in management. The pints being £2 suggests that the new owners may be running special offers to attract customers. Additionally, the mention of karaoke and a good atmosphere suggests that the pub is actively taking steps to create an enjoyable experience for customers.
The comment also mentions that the pub is going to focus on cheap beer and sports, which can be a positive for customers who enjoy watching sporting events in a pub setting.
However, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One of the comments states that Tally Ho Place is no longer child-friendly, with the removal of the kids play area. This may be a drawback for families looking for a place to bring their children.
Another comment indicates that the current management has "decimated" the number of customers. Although the reason for this decline is not specified, it suggests that there may have been negative changes made by the new owners that have impacted the pub's reputation or popularity.
Finally, there is a comment mentioning gobby little kids, which implies that the pub may sometimes attract rowdy or disruptive behavior from children. This could potentially create an unpleasant atmosphere for some customers.
In conclusion, Tally Ho Place has several strengths, such as offering alternative drink options, being a meeting place for sports fans, providing entertainment, and offering affordable drinks. However, it also has weaknesses, such as no longer being child-friendly, a potentially declining customer base, and the potential for rowdy behavior from children. Overall, it seems to cater to a specific demographic of sports fans and patrons looking for a traditional, affordable pub experience.
