I visited in a hat after attempting to cut my own hair (yes, yes, I did try cut my own hair!) They did a lovely job!!!! I love my new cut.
Would highly recommend for both ladies and gents' Afro hair cuts.
The gents barber shop is looking pristine, the tattoo parlor upstairs is looking pristine...the ladies hair salon has been forgotten. The whole hairdressers needs a revamp but Mr Sylvester has ignored this. We ladies go here and pay the price asked, yet the condition of the place is terrible. The lights are fallung off ghe ceilkng, and the water system needs changing. Treat us better, that's all we ask.
This is the second time something has gone wrong with me getting my hair styled here. One time I booked an appointment for a simple style after having to wait 90 extra minutes because she took a late appointment the hair stylist Tracy tried to charge me £35 after the original quote of £30.
Another time I booked an appointment. I had to wait 30 minutes to get my hair styled which I didn't mind but then they started doing my hair for about 10 minutes then stopped so I had to go somewhere else to get it finished.
The barbers are fine just be very careful with the hairdressers they are not reliable and professional. I won't be going back and definately do not recommend this place to anyone.
Been going to Bright(first barber when you walk in the store) for just about half a year now. Amazing skill and technique when it comes to cutting your hair, he is extra careful to make sure you feel comfortable and does exactly what you asked but he isn't afraid to recommend something! His fades are sharp and his styling is fantastic. Great person to talk to and very welcoming, if you need a haircut speak to Bright he will sort you out good! ????????
The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I sat there with my son about two years ago hoping to be seen by anyone but we were totally ignored. We watched them cut hair and chat loudly without acknowledging our presence. We waited for about 20 to o 30 minutes and left. Not a place to recommend.
Dreadful experience! I would give 0* if it was possible. I called your shop up on Wednesday and made a booking for the following day. Upon arrival, I was made to wait for an hour! What was the point of booking? My hair was cut by X and despite positive reviews, I must say I am beyond shocked. It was supposed to be a skin fade, but I could see a straight line in the back. Also, the top hair was supposed to be blended in with the sides and the back, some parts are overly long and some are shorts. In all honesty, I should not pay £1 for a haircut like that. My foot will never step into your shop again.
Went to this shop with my son to get his haircut, when we arrived we had our traditional cloths and the guy looked at us and said they are not going to give him a haircut and started making excuses. They had some kind of racist behaviour and said it’s going to be hot and humid if we stay. I thought they are leaving that why they didn’t wanted to serve us but we came back to the street after two hours and they were still their all serving people. I don’t think their should be space for such racist behaviour in this society but we still see this in our day to day life. SHAME ON RACISM.
went to get a haircut from kenneth yesterday was absolutely amazing! he spoke about what we wanted prior to starting, got a beard trim, skin fade and facial treatment with wax for a very good price. Also asked if I liked football and put on the Chelsea vs Norwich game for me. he took his time and spent so much attention to detail to give me the best haircut ever. The facial treatment was fantastic and customer service was 10/10. Lots of banter and lively atmosphere in this great family barbers. Go to see Keenzydbarber and check out his mini shop, I brought a beard oil too so i can treat my beard at home aswell. Defiantly recommend
