Today I went inside to get a fill in and pedi with my friend. I got an older lady to do my services who was different from the person i usuallyget it done from (the lady who's always sitting in the first station as you walk in) .
The pedi was uncomfortable because she kept poking and scraping around my toes removing the no chip i previously had which hurted and it shouldn't have been like that. The hot towel she used for my legs was so rough and scratchy, my skin felt irritated and not soothing at all.
As the lady was filing my nails i asked her to keep the shape i previously had on before (coffin) and she didnt do nothing, not even remotely similar to my previous shape and on top of that, it was crooked and dull. I asked her to fix a certain nail and she did. But when i looked at the rest. Most of them looked crooked. I was about to ask her if she could file the top of my nail flat (because coffin isn't round) and before i got to fully ask the question, she interrupted me saying, "yeah, yeah, yeah" not giving her full attention of what i wanted and she didn't even know what i was going to fully ask yet. That annoyed me . Very rude of her.
As soon she was about to be finished she puts lotion on one of my hands, then we realised I had a hair tie on my wrist. She didn't even remove it to massage my arm. She rolls it more up my arm, making it more uncomfortable. I told her she could remove it and responded, "I don't care.". OK but I do.
I didn't bother to tip her because I had a lot of discomfort, my nails weren't shaped coffin, not sbaped nicely either and she was rude. I paid my mani and pedi and that was it. My friend mentioned she gave a dirty look because she didn't get tipped. If I don't tip, it's not because im selfish. It's because i was not satisfied with my service.
Their paint quality is poor, your no chips starts to chip after four day’s and then they want to charge you $10 to retouch their own work. They can’t do any art design just color. They literally rub your hand and foot, tap them a few times and call it a massage. I decided to give them another try because my cousin said I chose the wrong lady but then they told me because they close at 8:00p.m. when I walked in at 7:13pm to do a manicure they said it was too late. Yet they only took 30 minutes last time. Finally here’s a picture of them closing at 7:23p.m.
I have been going to Swan Nails for over 10 years. Linda is my go-to next up is Christine. This is a relaxing clean space. My friends go here as well. Their non chip manicures and pedicures are the absolute best. I also utilize their waxing services. I am a regular customer and I will never go elsewhere. I love and recommend everyone to Swan Nails!

I came here for a French pedi & mani gel for both
The lady removing my pedi was really rough scraping my nails she let the Acetone sit for a max of 30 sec.
It was painful & the work was rushed. The massage on your feet & leg was none existent as well as removing dead skin on feet.
The mani was even worse done by another lady they use acetone on top of already cured gel to fix everything like an eraser for both!
They want you to keep curing gel for over 30 seconds when it’s already cured & file nails after they’re done which causes the gel to open sooner with water ect! My nails cracked after 3 days! Never had I had this happen. I called went in & fixed it & now today another nail cracked! $85 for garbage service go else where! They know what they’re doing they do this so you can come back! $$
I had my manicure done a week ago and my nails look horrible already. The technician her name is Linda did my nails and they looked very bad right after She applied no chip nail polish. I was very disappointed with the service . Probably I would do better job or someone with no experience.
Never noticed this place near my parent’s house before but stopped in for a pedi on a Sunday and it was fantastic! Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and most importantly, a great job on my toes. I’ll be back!
Clean and friendly environment. Amy did my nails. I showed her what i wanted and she delivered.
Usually go to Nail Bliss in Des Plaines, but I decided to try a place closer. Small place with little parking. Lots of regulars. The lady up front was really sweet, but the technician was a disappointment. Asked for a no chip, she cut my nails so deep that my skin started bleeding. They were so short so I did acrylics. Asked for minimal buffing, yet she kept going. She didn't listen to anything that I wanted and completely sped up the process. Not to mention while she was doing my nails she got a phone call and was talking on the phone for about 10 minutes. The service was definitely overpriced for how I was treated.
