Style Nation is the best hair salon I’ve found in Reading. The owner, Kimmy, and everyone else working there are super professional and friendly from the moment you walk in.
They stock a wide range of products in store and they have the skill to deliver every hairstyle for any hair type.
I love their system of working where the stylists rotate between clients to match the style or skill requirements.
I’d 100% recommend booking an appointment if you want professionally done hairstyles that lasts. They service Afro-Caribbean hair as well as Caucasian and straight hair.
A little known fact that I learnt as well: if you had your hair done recently and for example, a plait came loose, you can get it redone for free. That was great to know as it solves the issue instead of leaving a bad review ????????
Kimmy is nothing short than amazing ! I struggled to find a great BBQ hairdresser and stylist and once I it was heaven sent !! My hair has grown so much since coming to Kimmy and her service is always 5 star ! She is very knowledgeable on hair and she is very professional in hair care and her team is amazing ! All so lovely and very intent on making sure your hair is healthy and styled and slayed !!She is literally the best ! Everyone should go to Kimmy !! Your hair will literally thank you !
The salon decor is also very nice ! It’s relaxing and Luxurious and you feel very special in the salon ! Nothing short of luxury ! Absolutely the best !
Been coming for years. Kimmy is an experienced, self-made hair stylist. She's attentive, skilled, successful, friendly and innovative young woman. Very inspiring.
The #salon was #clean & it felt #professional. I went for a quick shaping trim to even out my hair length. I ended up also doing a relaxer. The people were friendly and they kindly took my booking without an appointment. A good service, but the price was a bit of a hit. £80 for a quick #trimming #cut & #relaxer. I found this #costly but I would still #recommend them if you are #treating #yourself or if you can #afford #it.

Kimmy has been doing my hair for over a year now and I am always so pleased with the result. The salon is bright, clean and tidy and she has a professional, welcoming team. Kimmy is an expert in her field and its so nice to have a local hairdresser that would rival any London salon. My appointments are always on time and I cannot recommend her highly enough and would not dream of going anywhere else. ????
Let's start with the salon. The decor is classy, stylish and tasteful. Kimmy makes sure it is kept clean at all times which is impressive! She is an absolute gem! She is attentive and makes sure you are comfortable during your time and happy with your results after. She's knowledgeable as well so your hair is in good hands. Her mocktails are delicious too!! I can never get enough. I've been multiple times and have never been disappointed with the service. 10/10 recommend. Big up Kimmy and the style nation staff!!
Kim is amazing she made my dream hair come true. I sent her a picture of what I want she got everything right especially the colour which was so important. The hospitality in the shop was just amazing!!!
Kim is very professional and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to hair and treatments, to maintain the overall health of hair. I have been coming to Kim for years and would highly recommend Style Nation as one of the best salons in Reading.
