My first appointment with Dinesh was excellent! His shampoos are to die for! Only one other stylist has been able to compare. After giving him guidelines about what I preferred, I let him go to work; and my cut came out perfect, and far better than the image I’d had in my head. Dinesh was very pleasant and welcoming, and has a serious talent for creating the best style for my lifestyle!
I have been going to Studio One for over 30 years.The staff and stylists are so friendly and so welcoming. I've been using Judy since I started going there. My husband has been going for the same amount of time. He sees Craig . We can't imagine going anywhere else. We love this place
I came in with clean dry hair, so as to show the frizzy damage on my end-hair from past colorings. I didn't want a shampoo, nor any style. Just cut off the frizzies. I was not pleased when I said 3+ times that I didn't want any of my back hair (length) cut, but only the top and upper sides of where it was dried, damaged & frizzy looking.
The stylist kept combing at the back hair (what I told him NOT to cut), and he mentioned at least twice about it needing a trim....thus me having to repeat myself again. He was so set on cutting my back hair length that I grew uncomfortable having to guard where his every motion was going.
Not the best experience at $20. I will have to smooth it up at home & will not be back to Studio One.
I'm such a picky person when it comes to getting my hair cut due to awful past experiences.
I went to Studio One in Lansing and again an awful experience. I was there for less than 10 minutes. I went in with freshly showered hair that was air dried. The stylist did not wet or straighten my hair and attempted to cut it poofy and wavy.
I also asked for NO layers. And the stylist added layers to only one side of my hair and they're high and choppy. Also, the left side of my hair in the front is 1" longer than the right.
The photos are after I've straightened my hair. Needless to say, I do not recommend going here.
And no one has returned my phone calls.
Excellent energy, good vibes the whole time. Affordable and my line up is on point. They got me right in and I really got the complete treatment. Definitely recommend

Laura worked a miracle on my hair! I've had a bad red color for a couple years now. The first time I went to her she made it disappear, it's now a beautiful blonde! I love love the color!!
