My granddaughter and I stopped in here for coffee today, it’s been newly renovated, place looks great, just love their coffee!!!!
Pleasant venue and good selection for the lactose intollerent. There was a bit of a queue and social distancing was disregarded. The waiting area does not lend itself to social distancing. A table service would alleviate some of the problem but there would still be a lot waiting for take away drinks.
I love the signature hot chocolate and have for years but recently it has tasted watery and lacking that rich flavour if I wanted a bog standard hot chocolate I would have made one a home.
Sitting in but given takeaway cups but others have mugs. Didn’t ask whether sitting in or not until I said I was sitting in and then member of staff asked was the drinks still ok in a takeaway cup? Asked for a cookie, handed it in a bag. Wouldn’t rush back for the lack of service and the lack of asking the customer a few extra questions
Went over today to get some take away coffee. Coffee was in two cups for some reason and the lid wasn't put on properly (i didn't know it wasn't on. I assume because the edge of 2nd cup was in the way). Sat down in the car and pretty much the entire coffee went flying out of the cup due to the lid not being fully clicked in!! My lap was then greeted with HOT coffee. Had to still do grocery shopping before driving 35min home so ended up having to walk around in wet, stained, smelly trousers. How hard is it to push the lid down to make sure it's secure before handing it to a customer???
Staff always friendly and drinks all made in good time. All food displayed looks great, sitting area is kept clean and clear to a high standard. Visit regularly and never disappointed. In the heart of Foyleside shopping centre, there is a fantastic atmosphere.
