1st visit. Had BBQ chopped pork plate. Plenty of BBQ, slaw & French fries. Very tasty.

Comfortable seating. Pleasant waitress Nicole. I will be back. I'd recommend.

I grew up a few miles from this Stameys, and been eating lexington bbq a long time. I got this bbq and it was ready even at 9 am! No other Lexington style place is even open at this time, but getting breakfast here is a local favorite!

The homefries with ranch are amazing, a nice seasoned crunchy alternative to fries. I personally think Lexington BBQ 1 has the best hushpuppies but these are okay!

Stameys has mild bbq slaw thats good to eat by itself not too strong, black peppery, their recipe tastes like smokey joes, or lex bbq 1. I think a good bbq slaw should be mild enough to eat by itself, or dip mild enough to drink it. I have had some lexington places make it with too much ketchup or vinegar.

The pork shoulder was served Hot and was amazingly tender, nice smoke rings on my coarse chop! The smoke flavor was Way smokier than what I get at my favorite Lexington BBQ spots in town. Stameys in Tyro is the real country spot, in the middle of a one stop light town. Ive ate pork shoulder all my life and Stameys served me some of the best i have Ever had early in the morning, bathing in a hot lexington dip. They know how to do it!!! ????

Please try the livermush for breakfast if you never have, its a carolina thing :)

I love this little place, a real country delight.

Service was fine but food we got was not! Brisket was fatty and tough. Bbq tasted gamey and don't know how that could happen! Best part of the meal were the Hush puppies and they were small. Other food there may be great but that was not.

This place is one of my favorite. The food and people, staff, just everything about this place is awsome. The best BBQ in the county (my opinion) and the staff are a bunch of pretty women that are very nice and friendly. Who doesn't like being waited on by nice pretty women?. Lol.. seriously though it's a family oriented restaurant that everybody knows everybody and where people can come together and eat and have a nice time. Only thing I would say negative about this place is that the prices have went up( due to inflation on food) but you do get a 10% off if u pay cash so...but all in all great place

Wife calls to place order - exceptional service as always.

Ordered different meals for 4 different people with plenty of side dishes. Took order and stated 15 min wait.

15 min later we are there, foods wrapped and ready at register with smiling faces to greet.

Take food home and dish out everyone's order. Everything was there nothing missed. Food was hot. Drinks were cold. Everyone from my 8 year old son to my 18 y/o to my wife and I were filled up with 0 complaints!

Can't say enough good things about Stameys tbh and would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone! We ordered the steak sub meal with fries, 2 burger meals with fries, chicken strips with fries, the special roast meal with mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, and broccoli casserole. Also added sides, hushpuppies and extra mashed potatoes and gravy. DELICIOUS

Delicious food great service very cozy atmosphere!

The food was pretty standard for a BBQ place near Lexington. Service was up to expectations. I enjoyed eating there.

Good food, friendly service. Got the BBQ plate with fork-tender pork, slaw, fries and hush puppies. Flavors were all good.
