Visiting friends and needed a haircut. My friend suggested we go see Shelly. He wanted me to get Shelly and that may have been great also, however Robin cut my hair instead. Best haircut I have had in years!! Kind, friendly staff, eyebrow trim, ear trim, straight razor on the back of my neck. Absolutely a wonderful experience. Thank you Shelly and Robin for such a great experience.
Shelly has cut my boys' hair for several years. She understands their preferences and has always been kind to them. She speaks directly to them and I appreciate that. There is never too long of a wait and every customer is treated as a special person, when they walk in her door.
This was my first time going to Shelly's and I have to say, what an excellent experience. Even having a few people ahead of me as a walk in I didn't have to wait long. Shelly herself cut my hair and did a fantastic job. Everyone was friendly and I'll definitely be going back the next time I need a trim. Just an FYI at the time of writing this review they only accept cash or check payment, if you're like me and don't tend to carry much cash call ahead and see if their payment options have changed in the future.
Great local barber establishment. The ladies are amazing and super social. It's now the only place I use. They also cut ladies' hair, so don't let the name fool you.
For those planning to go, bring cash as no plastic is taken. The staff has grown, and walk-ins happen, but you can always make a reservation.
Plenty of cutters to make the wait short. Some visits can wait up to an hour but nice to chat with locals while you wait. Saturdays can be super busy so bring time to spare.

Took my son here (15 months) for a haircut and all of the ladies were amazing! Melissa was so patient with my wiggle worm and his hair looked fantastic after. Shelly was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed! You really get that small town feel when you’re in here. We will definitely be going back.
I just left from getting a haircut. Shelly and her staff are very friendly and professional. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Shelly did my hair. I have officially had ever single lady cut my hair and they have all done exactly what I wanted. This place is definitely the best place I have ever been to for a cut.
Love the Ladies that work there! Great little barber shop! Has the small town feel, where you can go and chat and get a haircut! Remind me of the Old school Barber shops, but with Ladies cutting hair!
Great place to get a haircut! Shelley & Robin do a fantastic job. Started coming here when Mr. Oliver still owned it. Shelley is carrying on his tradition of great customer service, making sure Arlington has an excellent home town Barber Shop. I won't get my haircut anywhere else!
