My experience at Salon 42 has been 5 stars across the board. From getting an appointment, to collaborating with the stylist on my next crazy hair changes, they have been encouraging and provided the most professional responses when it comes to the health and look of my hair. I would recommend Laura or Amber, but any of the talented and creative women up there will do a fantastic job!

First time here and everyone here is so nice and welcoming. My hairstylist Jessica did an amazing job on my hair and helped on how to style it. Honestly it was an amazing experience.

Love this salon and all the stylists. The owner runs a top notch business. Their knowledge of cuts colors and treatments are up to date with the latest trends and anyone you choose to schedule your services with are all very talented in their trade.

Horrible imagine wasting $700 lmao yup that's me, garabage I gave 20 percent tip, the blonde was trash, I asked for platinum blonde…. Well I got blonde, but platinum nope, and then after the second session she said there’s no need for 3 treatment/ session lmao SANDI (Hairstylist) tried to hype it up and taking photos which I wasn’t expecting but I guess she tryna sell it…but i really didn’t care to show disrespect especially if she’s that delusional to think she did a good job theirs no point, I accepted an L and learned my lesson, but Look I regert over tipping, i regert booking with SANDI but i regert paying 280 per treatment and not getting platinum blonde instead only getting 2 session and being told it’s can’t be brighter, when other places and people told me otherwise. This is not hate jus some places are for some people and some aren’t, i would like to say if you really want platinum blonde the poor experience and bad quality I got was from Sandi just fyi.

Great place, Jessica did a really nice job with me and my sisters hair it was priced very well!

I recently moved from NY and I was nervous finding a new Salon. I have been very happy with Laura at Salon 42. I have been happy with my color and cut and she listens to what I like done with my hair cut and color. They are reasonably priced as well.

Who I’d usually recommend isn’t there anymore but still a great place

I had my first appointment today at Salon 42 with April for a haircut and style. My hair is naturally thick and wavy so I try to get it textured and layered, although it’s been a while since having that done. After a three minute consult with April and showing her a photo of my goal hair style, she shampooed me and went to work. It’s always scary trying out a new salon/stylist, but I was at ease and felt confident about April's abilities from the first few minutes.

She was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. I am beyond happy with my new cut and style - it feels and looks amazing. I’m happy to be back on her books for color in a few weeks and I’ll 100% be going back here as long as April works there! I highly recommend this place, especially April.
