Superb food, served in a bright, clean restaurant which has good views over Poole quayside. The meals were all delicious and plates were left clean! Staff are friendly and sufficiently attentive.

I will certainly be visiting again with friends and family in the future.

The food was excellent, but the drinks options were a little lacking. There were few non-alcohol options on the menu and no sugar free options listed other than water or tea. I had a pot of black tea, which was a small pot and had 2 teabags in so even though I removed the bags as soon as it arrived the tea was much too strong. One bag would be plenty for that size of pot, or even better have the teabag separate and a place to put the used teabag so the customer can choose how strong to brew and not have to balance used teabags on the saucer with the cup.

My main issue however was the ladies toilet - it was clean and had the hand rails for disabled people like myself, but the emergency alarm cord was cut off high up. The red alarm cords in toilets MUST hang freely all the way to the floor at all times. They must never be tied up, cut, or tucked away. If I had an incident and could not get up from the floor, I would have no way to signal for help. In worst cases people could die if they're unable to call for help. If there are issues with the cord being pulled by mistake or as a nuisance, ensure the reset button for the alarm is clear to see and easy to use for customers and for staff. The solution must never be to have the cord out of reach. I do not know if the men's toilet is accessible or has the cord in reach as nobody in our group used it.

We found the meal "just OK" - decent Italian food, but decidedly mid-range stuff.

Calamari - a tad over-fried and had lost its juiciness as a result. The accompanying fried prawns were similarly shrunken and dehydrated as a result of being fried for probably too long.

Octopus and Mussels pasta - decent effort. Seafood was fresh, but the pasta sauce was somewhat bland and underwhelming. There wasn't much of any flavour in particular.

Spaghetti bolognese - an Italian classic that one would expect any decent Italian restaurant to do well. And Rosso's did it really well. It was a robust and meaty sauce, full of flavour. Best dish of the evening.

Vongole and cozze spaghetti - very nicely done too. Different sauce from the Octopus/Mussels pasta, and this was much much better. It had nice hints of seafoody, briny, flavours, in what appears to be a white wine base sauce.

Service - prompt, courteous and efficient. No complaints there.

Had a lovely meal, wonderful view and a very good hard working waitress. Will definitely come back again if I'm in the area. Thank you.

Really great Italian. Very welcoming & friendly service. Really nice quality food and generous portion sizes. Well priced. We had garlic bread, pasta, pizza & lasagna - would recommend all of it!! Situated with good view and place was very clean. Will definitely be going back.

Visited Rosso’s for a special birthday today, I don’t often left a review but I have to review this restaurant. Amazing service, the waitress is so pleasant and cheerful, she really can’t do enough for you. lovely, quality food and great portion sizes. Stunning view and very spacious and clean. Will definitely revisit ???? Thank you
