1st time I went there was great. I went in Friday and I had the worse experience from the second I walked in. The lady asked if I had an appointment when I tell her no she took and deep breath and states that they only prefer appointments. Than calls the person who was scheduled to go at that time gets off the phone tells my daughter and I to go sit. I tell the lady I’m getting a spa pedicure pick the one I wanted while I’m already getting rushed too. My daughter got a basic. The lady did my entire pedicure super fast applied my lotion before the scrub????????♀️ Than I notice she didn’t even put the foot bomb in when I ask her she literally tells me oh yea and puts it in her drawer. I ask for gel at this point the lady who spoke to me when I first go in is now doing a pedicure she looked over at me and says your pedicure “that’s $17 extra ok” I said I’m sorry as I was not sure if she was talking to me since she’s with someone else and she says I said it’s $17 more than what you already paying. Even the lady she was working on looked at me in pure surprise. Her attitude was horrible so no I didn’t get nothing else done. And the polish started chipping on both of us the next day. Called asked for the owner to call me back and I’m still waiting. $78 dollars down the drain.
This was my first time getting my nails done in 20 years and Lin was so nice and walked me thru everything. I got gel extensions and my daughter got a manicure. I will definitely be back when it’s time to refill.
Terrible pedicure.nail polish is dull. Bring your own. Had a hand gel manicure. Bubbles and black specks are in the gel (pink portion). I had a gel light pink natural color. It is the worst gel manicure. Wasted 69 dollars on a pedicure and manicure. No leg message. Just slap on old nail polish. Don’t waste your money - go somewhere else.
I've been using Red Lion Nails for close to a year now. I had heard great things about their pedicures, and I have enjoyed those. But my first visit my manicure was very rushed and not an enjoyable experience. I had a few more manicures and pedicures and for the most part, aside from a smudged toenail I didn't have problems. Then I had a gel manicure that should normally last me 2 weeks, it started chipping less than 24 hours later. I still enjoyed the pedicures enough to go again and thought maybe that was a fluke. So, I decided to get a full set of acrylic nails with gel for my wedding yesterday. I couldn't go the day before as they were closed due to the holiday. So, I had to go 4 days prior to my wedding. But I thought that since gels usually last me 2 weeks and I've had acrylic nails from other salons last me a month or more, I should be fine. Well, the day of my wedding, right before I was leaving for my Ceremony, I grabbed the railing of the stairs, and my nail broke off where my natural nail starts. I was very upset to say the least as I had paid around $150 for the full set and pedicure with tip. I didn't have time to get them fixed so I quickly glued it back myself but couldn't have any close ups of my ring hand as my nail looked terrible. They did fix it the following day, but it didn't even matter to me at that point as my wedding day was over. I would still get a pedicure at this salon, and I really wanted to like this salon, but sadly I can't trust them with my manicures anymore.
I walked into this business for the first time on Thursday after making an appointment since it was close to where I was and I REGRET it. I sat in the owners/head artist chair to get my nails done and she and another artist start speaking about an older costumer in the shop (in English) saying they she was cheap for not wanting to pay extra money to get her cuticles cut (mind you she was getting a manicure which in most businesses that is included). The costumer service was terrible, they not only spoke badly about other costumers while they are in the shop but, she was also very rude to her receptionist.
Now for my nails - they were hideous. I asked for a gel full set, medium length and they were bumpy and not shaped well at all. It is now Thursday and they all fell off. The $75 overcharge for the work was definitely NOT worth it. Don’t go here.
Thank you Q for an amazing experience I was 30mins late my fault but Juliane still sent me to Q and the rest was pure art. Q is very meticulous and precise and very nice. The salon is clean and they sanitize everything. As a nurse you hope for sanitation and relaxation and both were met here. Please check them out by the Wawa on 72
First time I went to this location it was great--I got a good pedicure and it was exactly the expected price. Last Thursday (9/22), I had probably the worst experience in a nail salon, ending with me fainting in the pedicure chair and paying $10 extra towards my services. The woman who did my nails cut 3+ toes while she was digging into my nail bed excessively with the cuticle cutter. She never apologized and when she saw I was getting pale and about to pass out did nothing. I am extremely weird about my feet and really don't like having them touched in the first place, but because my first experience here was so great I trusted I wouldn't have any issues. The woman cut almost every single one of my toes in an attempt to completely reshape my nail shape (my toenails are round and she cut them all into squares). I tried speaking up only to be ignored. After I fainted in the chair, I asked she please just get the polish on so I could be on my way. She apparently decided she hadn't withdrawn enough blood from my body, as she made a 4" cut up my leg while exfoliating me on my leg where I was supposed to get tattooed.. the next day. Which I obviously couldn't do anymore. To top it off, she hardly got the dead skin off with the pumice, and she didn't use the gun they use to get the callouses off. I was charged $75--$33 dollars for the basic pedicure, and then was charged $42 for my gel french manicure (a gel is $30, with $7 extra for French). She charged me $5 extra for the paraffin that is INCLUDED with gel manicures on their pricing. Do not go here unless you have a nail tech you trust to not hurt you and then have the nerve to overcharge you after. How did I leave apologizing to the nail tech when she was the one to ruin my whole experience? People come to nail salons to relax and leave feeling pampered, not anxious, upset, and bleeding.
My daughter and I went to get a pedicure. We were thinking of making this our place to get our nails done UNTIL we went to pay. At first, the cashier said the bill was $100. The payment machine wasn't working at first. Then the cashier changed the price to $107 and then the machine worked. My daughter asked why did the price go up all of a sudden? Bait & switch is an illegal practice. We liked the salon EXCEPT for the lack of integrity and honesty. Integrity and honesty is very important. We were disappointed in the lack of integrity and honest at Red Lion Nails.
