If you’re looking for quality nails, Q Nails is the perfect place! They are usually pretty booked so you’ll have to make an appointment ahead of time to reserve a spot. However, they are worth the wait. I have tried other locations in Alamogordo and none of them compare to Q Nails!
Was hesitant at first as I don’t like shops that are in mini stripes and seem to have a lot of hoopla from the reviews. After many personal experience from new coworkers I decided to made an appointment. Called Monday 6 Mar and the appointment was scheduled for that Friday 10 Mar @ 515pm. Important details—spoke to the OWNER to schedule this appointment. He was nice and reiterated the time before hanging up. On Friday I had some extra time so I went to the shop earlier to see if I could reschedule. Upon entering noticed they were busy so I just stuck with my original appointment. Arrived about 20-minutes early; checked in with the owner again letting him know I was here for my 515 appointment. He nodded then I sat in one of the chairs. Had a conversation with a friend and realized my appointment time came and past and I still was not serviced or talked too. Since I was on the phone I asked the individual what time was it. He stated 522. At this time a female who came in second before me was serviced. I waited a little longer but by this time it’s 25 minute’s passed my scheduled appointment. Still no one from this business acknowledged me. Then at 547 as the other guys is finishing up his client he says he’s ready for me but at this time there’s not enough time for him to complete my service before I have to depart for another appointment. Why should I be late to someone whose provide a service to me on your behalf sir! I state I don’t have time for the service as I was scheduled for 515pm but your now trying to service me at minutes to 6pm. He says they were busy and if I would like to reschedule. I say tomorrow morning and he says there booked. Which I reiterated they don’t follow scheduled appointments so why can’t I be placed on the schedule. Which he says they are busy.
I would not recommend this place. They are unprofessional unproductive individuals and waste your time! Photo included to show how “busy” they were.
Q Nails is by far the best stateside nail salon I’ve been to. I have been all over the world & the attention, care, detail, & overall performance is phenomenal. Tommy & his wife go above & beyond to give you the best experience they can. They get to know their clientele & are willing to work with you on exactly what you’re looking to have done. The artistic gifts they have for nail designs are amazing. The cleanliness of the facility is superb as well. Hong has given me some of the best pedicures I’ve had in a long time & highly recommend. I would suggest making appointments in advance so you have the best experience. Jess.
First time going in was great! But do need to make appointments due to being busy. Does great designs!
. Good service ✅I liked Q nails service and attitude of the staff at this Spa. They are friendly and do not exaggerate the prices. In other spas, they have had a grotesque and arrogant attitude. Good nails and art nails I saw the difference how they treat an American person and how they treat a Hispanic.

I had an appointment and waited 1 hour to get my nails done but when they where finish with my acrylic full set I loved it. The gentleman is nice and he did an awesome job. I told him to get creative with my nails since I wanted something for Halloween and he killed it. When I go to my pedicures they always do a great job. My feet love it!
Fell like they was racist towards black people in general. My mail tech didn’t even acknowledge me, having side conversation with other takes laughing turning around talking. Then he act like he was scared to touch my hand when he doing he massage. If don’t want to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome and person of color don’t pick here to get your nails done.
