This shop is beautiful. The guy who did my nails did a great job. However, only two people were working. You will have a long wait time.
If I could give no stars, I would. Very rude and started adding additional charges. I felt the lady didn't want to do my nails, and I was correct- she outright refused to do my nails after I asked bc she seemed to be making excuses- I said I wanted short, she still was talking about charging for length. Then told me I would get charged additional for simply pink ombre. I didn't ask for three or four colors, so why is there an extra charge for color? Ombre automatically is a minimum of 1 or 2 colors. Then I asked for a color chart. She looked at me crazy and said they free style and would not provide me a color wheel. So I pulled a picture. She stated there would be a charge for the coffin shape, which I was perfectly fine with bc I'm well aware of additional charges for shapes, especially coffin in particular.
Overall, it was a very confusing and rude experience, which I started to feel she didn't want to do my nails bc she kept mentioning additional charges for stuff. All the charges she tried adding would have taken the stated price of $65 to $80. Luxury Nails in Eastchase ended up servicing me. They are larger, welcoming, professional and gave much expertise on their nail services. The nail tech was very friendly about showing me a color wheel and she helped me picked my colors to create my ombre color scheme.
I needed a quick gel pedicure for a wedding while I was in town for the weekend - Pink & White got me in as soon as I called. There was no wait & my technician did an amazing job! She was so precise and sweet, and quick too. They had a perfect 100 rating too which is something to brag about! It’s hard to do all of this at a nail salon, but they do it and they do it well at Pink & White! I definitely recommend this salon to everyone.
Says “walk-ins welcomed” on the door. Waited 20 minutes for them to open and was turned away because “they only take appointments” ????
Today was my second visit to this salon. Both times I had an appointment. I had to wait 20 minutes and they didn’t even fix the water so my feet could soak until I asked for it. The technician was in such a hurry the whole time. I have awful callouses and told her I did. She barely spent 20 seconds scrubbing each foot. She didn’t use any cuticle remover which made her scraping them almost painful. She did do a good job painting my toenails but then just left. I had to put my own shoes on and try not to mess up the polish. Both times I’ve never been told where the dryer was, if they had one. I may use this salon again in a pinch but I will be sure to ask for everything I want or why they aren’t doing something.
This is a gem. I get my nails done biweekly for over 10years now and I’ll say that it’s rare to find a nail technician that actually care for your nail health. This was an excellent experience and I will definitely return every time I’m in town. Thank you!!!
I come in town for business once a month. After reading the reviews, I went in as soon as they opened on Sunday to get my nails done. Being a business professional, that is an important detail being groomed well. I waited over 30 minutes in a chair. My nails were bulky and uneven, completely unnatural. They weren't painted nicely. And the person doing my nails kept getting up to do other things in the middle of the whole session. I left immediately and went to a different salon that felt so horrible for me, they fixed them free of charge. NEVER again.
I had the distinct pleasure of having my nails done today by the business owner of this establishment today and as a business coach, I can assure you, he's setting the standards of his industry. Not only did I have the very best dip powder manicure, but I got to learn about how he came to be in his industry and become a business owner. His establishment has received a perfect 100 score from the health inspector 8 times in a row! Fantastic experience. Highly recommend.
