Best PlaceJuice Reviews

To start... One star to write a review as zero was not an option, I wish we had read reviews before we visited. I have seen other reviews and unfortunately agree with many of them. Hubby had fish and chips and said it tasted nothing like fish and was luke warm.... mine on the other hand (steak pie??) had been warmed so long in the microwave was boiling hot, that is the only good thing I can say about it, the so called pastry was soggy beyond belief, literally there was one piece of meat inside, which was definitely not steak but it was swimming in gravy so I couldn't really tell, and the chips with it were also soggy and under cooked. Needless to say we left without eating the food and went somewhere else. I was hoping one of the staff would come and ask if everything was okay, but they were too busy taking about the night out they'd had, so we put the money on the table (begrudgingly) and left, never to return!! Worst meal I've ever been served in a cafe!
Stopped off for a bite to eat. First time I have been in here and have to say that I would definitely be going back.
Service was very good, staff were very lovely and helpful.
Place was kept very clean.
I had cheeseburger and chips and a diet coke. My mum had cheeseburger and a latte and total price £13.45 which is very reasonable.
Paid nearly £10 a big breakfast, not worth anywhere near £10,£2.15 for a mug of tea that was disgusting and gave it then back, food quality was poor aswel, wouldn't recommend anyone go to this cafe,I'm sure there's better and cheaper in Skegness,I certainly won't be going back
First of all , I’d never return probably the most inexperienced people in the cafe , after sitting down for 30 seconds I’ve been asked if I’m ready to order (didn’t even get chance to look at the menu). I asked for a small portion of scrambled egg for my son and they that’s fine little did I know I was being charged for 2x scrambled egg I then went to ask why I had been charged double and there reply was we use 2 eggs so you have to pay 2x at this point i already knew it was a bad experience. The food eventually came out ohhh gosh the cobs were dry and the sausages just had no taste
After finishing the last mouthful within seconds the plate was removed from the table whilst 2 of us were still eating.
To say the least I DEFINITELY will not be returning.
Very slow and confused service orders coming out and staff not knowing who's food it was, we ( and others) had to remind staff of our drinks order after our food eventually arrived. A lot of young inexperienced staff. Perhaps they need a couple of staff training days, quite a few staff appeared to be wandering about aimlessly with no initiative to approach customers. On the plus side I did enjoy the food.
Visited this lovely little Cafe for the first time today.
What a surprise, to find the best food I have eaten in Skegness.
Food great .
Staff lovely.
Great value, check it out.
Next time I'm in Skegness I will be back,
My first visit to Skegness. We stopped here for a quick bite. I ordered sausages in a roll. The white bap was not warmed or toasted. The sausages - & I use the word loosely - were almost white inside, looked more like mushed up bread to me. Both the roll & filling looked unappetising but I thought I should at least try. After two mouthfuls I gave up. Completely tasteless!
I wish I'd had the courage to refuse to pay, but I didn't want to embarrass my companion. She had haddock & chips with bread & ' butter' (which wasn't butter), hers was at least edible.
I would definitely not recommend eating here.
Please get some decent sausages, (or rename it a 'Faux-sausage' roll!).
GW
Had breakfast here this morning well say had breakfast this was the worst place I have not eaten as I left my full plate! The food was cheap and not worth the money £10 breakfast and 1.40 for mushrooms, cold and not fit for my dog. In total the bill was £42 for 2 full breakfast if that's what you call it as usual come with mushrooms and 3 small kids breakfast will not return here

Quick Facts About Ocean Cafe

Ocean Cafe is a cafe with mixed reviews, as evident from the comments provided. While some customers had a positive experience with good service and food quality, others were highly dissatisfied with the food, service, and overall experience. To analyze the strengths and weaknesses of Ocean Cafe, we will consider these aspects in detail.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that the service was very good and the staff were lovely and helpful. This indicates that Ocean Cafe has good customer service, which is an important aspect of a successful establishment. Additionally, the cleanliness of the place was appreciated by a customer, suggesting that Ocean Cafe maintains a hygienic environment for its customers.
Another strength of Ocean Cafe, as mentioned by a customer, is the reasonable pricing. The customer mentioned that they had a cheeseburger, chips, and a drink for £13.45, which they found to be very reasonable. This suggests that Ocean Cafe offers affordable prices for its menu items, providing value for money to customers.
Now, let's move on to the weaknesses that were highlighted in the comments. One of the major weaknesses of Ocean Cafe appears to be the poor food quality, as mentioned by multiple customers. Complaints were made about fish and chips not tasting like fish, being lukewarm, and steak pie being microwaved to the point of being boiling hot, with soggy pastry and inadequate meat. The chips were also described as soggy and undercooked. These criticisms indicate a lack of attention to food preparation and quality control at Ocean Cafe.
Several customers also complained about the service at Ocean Cafe. Slow and confused service was mentioned, with orders coming out incorrectly and staff not knowing who the food belonged to. Inexperienced and unresponsive staff were also mentioned, indicating a need for better training and customer engagement. It is suggested that staff training days could be implemented to improve the service and efficiency of the cafe.
In addition to the food and service issues, one customer mentioned that their plate was removed from the table while they were still eating the last mouthful. This shows a lack of attentiveness and consideration on the part of the staff, which can leave a negative impression on customers.
Furthermore, a customer complained about the low quality of sausages in a roll, describing them as almost white inside and tasteless. This indicates a lack of attention to product quality and sourcing at Ocean Cafe.
In summary, the strengths of Ocean Cafe include good customer service, a clean environment, and reasonable pricing. However, the weaknesses mentioned in the comments, such as poor food quality, slow and confused service, inexperienced staff, and lack of attention to detail, indicate areas for improvement. Ocean Cafe would benefit from addressing these weaknesses through better quality control, staff training, and improving overall customer experience.
