I’ve been going to Oak Plaza for nearly thirty years. Fred has always done a great job.
Not “old time” feeling, walk-Ins are told “no open appointments today”..I have been there many times over the years, but was turned away today.
The only place I'll go for a hair cut now. Fred is just a super nice guy, always makes you feel comfortable in the chair. I don't know how long he's been cutting hair but it's long enough that he knows what he's doing. If you're looking for an old school barber shop, not some trendy hipster joint then this is your place. Always best to call for appointment, but if not Fred will do everything he can to fit you in.

Best barbershop in town, they are not trying to sell you gel for your hair. Just a good gentlemen's cut
I used to go here with my grandpa when I was very young. About 40 years ago my pinky finger got smashed in the entrance door completely shut they gave me a stick of gum and a soda. I will never forget this place.
Best place to get a good haircut. Still only $12 for cut. Wait time can be awhile if busy because the barbers actually take the time to do everything right. Super friendly. Doesn't take card payments at this time, has an ATM to withdraw cash. I don't know the ATM fee amount.
Fred is awesome to my grandpa and has been cutting his hair for years!
