Large Cod is definitely large. Will feed 2 to 3 unless you're greedy like me.

Woman came back from smoking a cigarette then started touching food and serving without washing her hands. DISGUSTING! Raw fish looks to be left out all day without refrigeration.
the curry sauce is absolutely scrumptious and the chips are always so nice and warm and fresh and the best chips you can ever get.I don’t like fish so i don’t but it from there but i’m sure that if i did like fish and i bought it from nicks it would be the best fish i would have ever tasted.The prices are so good i 100% recommend.
Having lived in Kettering a short while, I noticed that there was always a queue outside this place, but never had the time to wait and find out why.

The food was well cooked and delicious and the price was fair and reasonable. I'll certainly be back, now I know it's worth the wait.
Having tried to visit several times now only to find the store is closed, despite posted hours showing a further hour's trade remaining.
Sorry, but its just damn disappointing to walk down there to find it closed. Update the hours or stay open as advertised.
Sausage and chips £ 2.50 in a tray. Fat cut chips very fresh and very tasty. Great friendly staff and Deffo visit again if I'm in the area.
