Went yesterday at opening time. Seemed nice enough at first. 3 ladies can in right after me saying they needed to be done in an hour so one lady worked on me and my 11 year old. Color and shape are good. I got dip on my nails but she used a gel top coat saying it would be shinier. I said ok but doesn’t it usually peel? She said no this is a good top coat. So I said ok. Her application of the topcoat was flooded and it’s peeling off already 1 day later. Nails over all are a 4 star. Toes were not done well at all. I paid to remove previous gel paint and you can still see some on with close inspection. Paint is patchy and you and see though some parts but not others. She may have been rushing bc they got busy. When I inquired about my total bc I noticed a 5 dollar difference she said they charge to take dip off even if you are getting it again which is unusual in this area. Potential for nails with out the gel top coat and fell short on regular toe polish.
Use to love this place. Very disappointed in the service I received today. I came in for a full set and the technician spent almost the entire appointment talking on her phone. I left the salon with crooked, uneven, and thick nails and bleeding cuticles. I've been to most of the salons in this area and this one use to be my favorite. I hate to have to find somewhere else, but the service here is not worth the $$$.
This salon is incredible! Very detailed and careful work; I couldn’t be happier with these nails.
I went there on a slow friday. I got dip, and matte black. I am not usually one to complain, but i will not be going backZ The woman who did my nails didn’t speak, left my nails very thick, didn’t ask for my shape, and didn’t bother to clean the excess off of my nails. Very disappointed. I will have to go get them redone elsewhere.
I used to love going here for pedicures & dip nails, but haven’t since last fall. Andy always did great work. I started going to a salon in Louisville closer to home, but missed Nail Concepts, so wanted to give them a visit again. Went last Wednesday, and this is what my dip nails look like as of today. Not sure what the girl’s name was, she barely spoke to me. She was very rough, filed them down too much, & only used two “coats”. She was upset because I told her not to use Gel polish on top of the dip (that’s not how you do dip, I would get gel nails if I wanted gel. I am beyond disappointed. I work in sales, not construction, my nails should not look like this in less than a week. Dip always last me 5 weeks, I always go the same day I go to the hair salon. Huge waste of $35, & the gas it took to get over there. :(
I've only been here twice and going today for another fill. I'm glad I found them. Everyone is friendly and they are great help with colors and my nails always look great when I'm done. I won't go anywhere else.
Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere! She did a great job and I look forward to going back!
They always make my nails look great, every time and with every person I get! It’s a great price for the service you get. I get dip and my nails would last longer than a month if I let them, no other place does them so well that they will stay on for longer than a month. I work with kids and I’m always washing my hands and I’m super rough on my nails so this says a lot. They are awesome.
