I’ve had my nails done here a few times but more recently because of a special occasion. This place is great! What I really can appreciate is that if you want your nails done quickly they can perform that task in a fast and efficient manner. I had the pleasure of having my nails done by the owner Tom and wow! I absolutely loved my nails! I showed him a picture and he did better. Every one though is so friendly and wants to make sure you leave satisfied.
I highly recommend My Nails. Tom does an amazing job. He’s quick but thorough.
My nails are consistently perfect every time.
And his art work with its intrinsic detail is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced and I’ve had many people through the years do designs. Tom is in a league of his own. I wont go anywhere else.
My sister and I went for pedicures. I wanted gel and she wanted regular polish. The lady doing her pedicure continuously pushed her to do gel until she gave in after, saying no multiple times. A younger lady was doing my pedicure. She did not do half of what the lady doing my sister's pedicure did, even though we got the same one. The color that I picked and the one that I got was NOT the same color. I said something about it. They compared the colors. It was obvious, but they tried to make excuses. I wanted black with black glitter. They gave me transparent black with silver glitter. A lady came over and said it's because it needed matte polish instead of shiney. They tried it and it made it worse. I have never had black polish that was transparent. My sister had the same issue with a nude pink. They brought over 6 colors and all of them were thin and transparent. They obviously thin their colors and they are not what is on the example nails. I also got a simple manicure with no polish. $20 seemed high for this. While we were there a lady had nails and pedicure done. She tried to use a gift card at checkout that her husband had just gave her. They would not allow her to use it so the lady checking out was irritated, as she has every right to be. Definitely will not be back. It is so hard to find a good, honest nail salon!
This was my first time here. I read the reviews so had high hopes. I had an appt at 9 for a fill,repair & pedicure. It was packed already. 9:20 I get in the first station. my fill was super rushed it doesn't even look like I got a fill it looks like my nails are a week grown out. I showed the guy and he just added more polish. Then I get put in a pedi chair,the water was barely Luke warm. I said for 20 minutes waiting so by the point the water is cold. The pedicure was really nice but I was almost charged for a #3 pedicure instead of the #2 I requested. I don't understand why it's so hard to find a quality place now days. I feel like it's about how many people they can see in a day instead of the quality of work.
This is my second time I’ve come here to get acrylic nails as well as pedicure and the new business owner does an amazing job on my nails. His nails last me a long time and he does what i ask for. The salon was nice, clean and staff is friendly. I’m going to definitely keep coming here and recommend to friends and family. They take great care of my nail needs. Thanks
I must have gotten the not so good tech. I went in for a fill I always have my nails done so I know what to expect. She did the prep work ok but left pieces of bright polish on the nail bed I thought for sure she would come back to. She used the minimum amount of acrylic might be a good thing I am unsure. We decided on a natural pink color. She put it on and it had minimum coverage I have read about others experiences with the polish here. It must be watered down or old. It is so lumpy and streaky. I have worn a set with gel polish for over a month and not have one problem. This started peeling just a few days after. Unbelievable so now I have peeled polish and spots of my last mani mixed with hair and lint. I didn't say anything im not good with confrontation. Not to mention when I paid I wanted to tip her $10 but she insisted on more since the card fee would cut into it. I get it but unprofessional. I hope others have a good experience I did not and I won't be back or recommend this place either.
I got my nails done here in January and it’s now the end of February and even through they are grown out they still look pretty good. No chipping, no cracks - and I’m super rough on my hands. I can’t remember the last time I had a manicure lasted this long. Highly recommend this place!
