Went on a Friday night, really busy. Staff were lovely and friendly but could tell they was over worked.
Would recommend the potato croquettes for starters, they was nice.
Had pizza for main, but found the pizza to dry. You don't any dips for the crust & not enough cheese on the pizza.
The meat on the pizza was full of flavour though.
Was a nice atmosphere, very Instagram vibe inside.
Overall had a nice time, but not in a rush to go back.
If you’re looking for a typical family Italian restaurant then Mulino is certainly the place, the decor is superb and the service is excellent. A stunning wine list to choose from at a great price point. The food is really good, slightly over salted in some cases and in the case of the beef cheeks not as fresh as I would have expected. Would I return? Probably not, I’d check out other alternatives, but did I enjoy? Yes
Absolutely loved it, food was out of this world, staff is friendly and service was perfect, you won't make a mistake paying this place a visit.
I went to Rome a few years ago, and this place is just like the small but larger than life restaurants I ate in.
The atmosphere is authentic with friendly, attentive staff.
My partner and I only wanted a small bite to eat, so I decided upon a few tapas dishes, and boy, were we wrong! These tapas dishes were huge! Honestly, we had to be seated from our table for two to a table for four so that all the dishes could be put out! My partner and I couldn't stop laughing ????
Actually, I obviously didn't realise how hungry I was because I managed to get through most of it. The food was so delicious and fresh, helps that I absolutely adore italian food too.
My only gripe is that more vegan dishes could be added to the menu, please ????????
We usually like this place but went for lunch last week, ordered carbonara and received this. On mentioning to the waitress that it looked pretty split we were informed that ‘proper’ carbonara looks like this because it doesn’t have cream. Lardons were fab but scrambled egg and pasta for 15 quid isn’t my fave and I certainly don’t appreciate being told I don’t know what Italian food is because I point it out.
Edited*** we revisited at the weekend and what a brilliant restaurant this is. So modern, amazing atmosphere and the staff were so good. The food once again was delicious. Cannot fault this place, you will really enjoy it.
Food and cocktails were absolutely amazing. The staff were brilliant too. Love it here, can't wait to go back
Came here for our birthday and it was really nice. The only issue I had was that the food came out at the wrong time. By that I mean one person had a main and side and the side was cold after waiting so long for the main. The children's meals could have been done first so they weren't getting restless. They were really busy though but overall a nice meal
We would just like to thank all the staff especially our gorgeous waiter with the santa hat! We were a party of 16 and the service and food was out of this world!! we were all so impressed and can't wait to visit again!! Thanks so much for having us (and putting up with us) you made our Christmas Party Sparkle!!
