Local shop with nice and friendly staff and seems like a happy place to be. Good size fish and chips portion was huge! Has the traditional fish and chip shop chip taste, if you know what I mean. I think they have some nice kebab as well, will try that another time. Recommend.

Excellent!! I only recently tried this place, but everything I’ve tried, so far, has been fantastic! I’ve just finished the best large, lamb shish I’ve ever eaten - beautifully tender meat, cooked on a real, charcoal grill (as it should be!!) Proper chips - as any fish & chip shop should cook. Large portions, freshly cooked, REAL chips, tender, juicy meat with that real charcoal taste - and really helpful, friendly staff ❤️ Open on Sunday too!! Highly recommended ????

Great food, little expensive. But what food isn’t these days. Shame the order was wrong on this occasion. But normally ok. Very busy in the shop. Always busy there in my experience. Definitely call ahead to avoid long waiting times in the shop.

First time to eat from this place, the food is really tasty and good price for amount. Thanked who introduced this place to me and will definitely repeat my experience. Thanks for the staff.

Been here twice now, the best chicken kebab I’ve ever had, both times!! And my Nan always gets the plaice and eats every last drop each time! Great food and service

Only been there once but freshly cooked good quality fish best I've had for some time

Fish was lovely but the chips were cold and had been lying for a while ,, very disappointed as I always use this chip shop .. will try Peyton plaice next time
