Best PlaceJuice Reviews
Such a busy kebab shop compared to the others on this street and I can see why.
The mixed tikka kebab was full of meat all cooked very well and full of flavour. The side salad and sauces were very refreshing.
The chicken shashlick kebab was very nice and packed a great punch. The only thing I would say was it was too saucy and made the naan soggy towards the end.
The staff were so friendly and had great banter, we will be back!
As always traditional Pakistani cooking both curry’s and kebabs. Hottest day of the year and I couldn’t think of eating anything else. Mazaa is one of the best places around.
The seekh kababs were succulent and really yummy. The option of taking the chutni/sauce separately was good. Nice and quick service☺️
Mix special kebab is a thing of beauty, great value and tasty as anything. Consistently good over multiple visits.
But: at busy times the place borders on shambolic, recent waiting time was double what was originally quoted, many people in there at same time were suffering similar problems, no apology offered, some people got free cans but not all. Been a few times and had this issue. Probably only an issue at weekend evenings I’d imagine, but a problem nonetheless.
Good staff and good choice of Asian style food. Proper Authentic curries especially the Karahi. The Nan bread is also first class.
However their seek kebabs are not good, rather chewy and seemed not to be fresh. Also their brown pilaw rice was rubbery.
Their seating arrangements are good and it was a busy takeway. So for curries and Nan 1st class but need to improve on kebabs and rice.
I have only been the once though.
I’ve been going here for 2 years and I can’t comment on the variety of food because I only get one thing - keema and chips (a childhood favourite). But the quality of the food is great and good value for money. It’s very tasty and authentic. The service is good and mostly quick and they are open late. The staff are friendly.
I actually left some feedback on this review previously and they responded to it very well and sought to improve the issue which is always a great quality in a business.
I ate here after seeing a review by HFTG. I ordered 1x Karahi lamb with 2 naans and 1 portion meat seekh kebab. Firstly, the Karahi was nothing like a Karahi. It was just plain ordinary meat curry on a plate. The naans were not in house made and were just reheated pre made/shop bought naans. The seekh kebabs although freshly made were some what lacking in fast and flavour in addition to oozing yellow haldi (tumeric) juice/fat which stained your finger tips when eating. I would not recommend this place.
Been into the takeaway tonight and ordered 2 trays of chicken Donner to take out. I've got home -about 15mins drive away and when I've opened it, it's all burnt and inedible.
I specifically asked for it to be fresh but clearly it wasn't..I've called them to tell them this and both workers have argued back with me and wouldn't admit it.
Definitely won't be recommending them to anyone.

Quick Facts About Mazaa
Mazaa place has several strengths and weaknesses, as highlighted by the comments above. The strengths include the busy atmosphere, delicious food options such as the mixed tikka kebab and chicken shashlick kebab, refreshing side salad and sauces, and friendly staff with great banter. Customers also appreciate the traditional Pakistani cooking and the option to take the chutni/sauce separately. The mix special kebab is highly praised for its value and taste. The staff are generally seen as good, the Asian style food choices are commendable, particularly the authentic curries and Nan bread.
However, there are also weaknesses to note. At busy times, the service can be chaotic, resulting in longer waiting times and potential issues with order accuracy. Some customers have experienced double the waiting time that was initially quoted and have not received an apology for this inconvenience. Furthermore, not all customers who experienced delays received free cans as compensation, leading to inconsistent customer service. The seek kebabs have received mixed reviews, with some describing them as succulent and yummy while others found them chewy and not fresh. The brown pilaw rice has been criticized for its rubbery texture.
The seating arrangements and takeaway service are generally considered good, but improvements are needed in terms of kebabs and rice quality. One customer who goes to Mazaa place regularly appreciates the quality and value of the keema and chips, but others have pointed out that the food does not live up to their expectations. The Karahi lamb was described as plain and ordinary, and not resembling an authentic Karahi dish. The naans were seen as reheated pre-made or shop-bought instead of being freshly made in-house. The seekh kebabs were lacking in taste and flavor, with the additional issue of oozing yellow haldi (turmeric) juice/fat that stained the fingers when eaten.
In terms of customer service, there have been positive experiences with staff responding well to feedback and actively seeking to improve. However, there have also been instances where the workers have argued with customers instead of acknowledging their concerns. This can lead to a negative impression and customers feeling dissatisfied with the service.
Lastly, one customer had a particularly negative experience with burnt and inedible chicken Donner. Despite specifically asking for fresh food, the workers argued back and did not admit the mistake. This lack of accountability and refusal to rectify the situation can significantly impact customer satisfaction and trust in the business.
In conclusion, Mazaa place has strengths in terms of its busy atmosphere, delicious food options, friendly staff, and traditional Pakistani cooking. However, weaknesses lie in the chaotic service during busy times, inconsistent quality of kebabs and rice, and occasional issues with customer service and food preparation. Improvements can be made in these areas to enhance the overall dining experience at Mazaa place.
