Nice, well kept park close to the water. Perfect for young kids, during daylight hours. Nice playground, and decent parking. Great walking trails too. This is not a huge playground, but it's perfect for kids under 10.

This is one of my husband and I favorite places to go kayaking it's very peaceful the other voters are very respectful it's a great place to fish and kayak and picnic barbecue or just to say control highly recommend this place they get a 10 hands down

20 years strong going here , and love it. I have seen it renovated to its full potential and its great. The little store is upgraded and nice and you can rent kyaks too. There is a hose for boat wash-down or whatever, and two clean port-a-potties. Fishing is decent but really not a good area for kids because of the boats in and out and the hang ups close to shore--you need to be casting out into the channel for success. However, the park and pavilion area are awesome and can be rented at the town hall--which has actual bathroom key. Grills and picnic tables on site. NO SHADE on pier!

This is a great fishing point for blue catfish, and snake heads frequent the waters as well. We always load up with as many blue cats as we can carry and have lots of fun with the kids here.
