Pros: neat clean parts, hair included, braids tight and all the same size and clean finish
Maria did my parts so nice and neat and tight. The other ladies did the ends. I asked for knotless and got knotless. I take my natural hair seriously
Cons: no ac. I don’t have patience for children - one of them is really really irritating and cries nonstop. If your child can’t behave they shouldn’t be there. I seriously was disgusted at how the mother was with her ten bad kids. They all need a time out!
Also the stylists talk too loud a beauty salon should be quiet and peaceful
They were great, the hair looked great, i didnt even have to show up before they opened to get serviced the same day but I felt really bad that my hairstylist had her child. It's a very long process getting braids and for the most part the child was well behaved. When he did start crying she put him on her back. It's bad for the stylist and the customer experience to run the salon like this. Since there are several children with the prices they charge they should be able to afford a sitter to stay in the side room of the salon. Service took maybe 8 hours. Came at 10 am, and left a little after 6. Hair was provided to me. Knotless braids, cost $250
I have known maria over 40 yrs much has changed don't know if it's family problems inflation or if she has just made a fortune her attitude has a lot to be desired
I've had my hair done at this salon numerous times. I must say the owner and employees lack consistency. One day they open at 9am and other days they open when they feel like it. Some of the employees take their time and do a good job on your head. Other employees rush and the finish product is unsatisfactory. When you're paying your money, you want your hair done with love and accuracy.

I would give the overall experience a 3.5 '4 stars here is why. I was told to get there at 9:30 and I wasn't serviced until 45 minutes later. The shop also definitely needs some maintenance from the floors to the towels that they use on your hair to the bathroom, could use a good cleaning. If you're clean freak, I definitely wouldn't suggest this place.
The pros are the stylist are really pleasant, respectful, easy to work with and try their best to please the customer. They had about seven stylist and they were all on point with their braiding technique very neat and well done . The owner, Maria is by far the best though. I showed them a picture and explained what I wanted and it was done exactly the way I wanted. Their prices are also comfortable and fair.
I use to do my hair at this place but after I noticed that the owner Maria dose what ever she want for you and you can't even talk to her she's very rude so I decided not to go back to them.This place is very on professional and dirty.I wouldn't recommend this place at all!!
Huge waste of time for anyone out of town. Do not even try it bruh. I had attempted to get cornrows twice at the salon the first time i had called months ago they had told me they are accepting walkins for cornrows simply 30 minutes later i get there and they tell me they are full already and can’t do my hair. Luckily a braider walked in and overheard me and decided to braid my hair. The braids than were with extremely high heat only and combed from root to tip directly it was painful. Than when i had tried to get another braiding appointment because it was one braider i tried they had once again told me they were taking walkins to only say my hair was too short too braid 3-4 months after they already had braided my hair when shorter. Than they told me it was $80 for the hair to be added to it and braided and did not even tell me how much hair would be added. Terrible waste of time.
