Never have I been disappointed in any service provided by this salon. Caroline is amazing, and since she has been "taking care" of my hair, it has never looked better!! Appointment times are honored (within a few minutes, at times), and prices are reasonable. The stylists listen to requests, and honor as best as possible. Enough "positive", cannot be said about The Madd Hatter!!!!!!
Well…. It’s a good place for middle aged white 9-5 dads and their sons to get a cut I guess, because that’s the only demographic going through here. I felt a bit awkward being glared at by every beer belly father sitting in the joint, a good place for a mediocre chop job. None of these people even know what a proper fade looks like or a line up lol and if you ask them to touch up your eye brows you get looked at in confusion. If you ask for only scissors and not clippers they act like it’s no problem and then make your bangs look like absolutely straight line window curtains. So what can they do exactly, they can make your hair look shorter and like you got it cut at a Walmart. Good place for kids 5 and under I suppose.

Stopped here several years ago as I was passing by. Nothing selective about it other than it was right there. They took me without having an appointment. I have long curly hair and it was perfectly cut. I've never gone to another place since. Doesn't matter which of the stylists does the work - it's always great. Call first. Since a lot of customers know about their quality, they're always busy. Never a wait when you make an appointment. You won't be disappointed.
Ranee did an excellent job! I am picky with my curls and it takes skills to cut it right, but she did an amazing job! I will refer her from now on.
Did an excellent job on my sons back to school fade! They were extremely busy but still managed to fit me in on a last minute notice. They were very personable and friendly and very professional. I was very satisfied with their customer service and hair cutting skills. It’s been very hard to find somewhere to take my 6year old son that will do a good job and are friendly. My husband likes this place too. He always has a hard time finding someone that does good fades and really likes this place. Highly recommended!!
I'm never picky about my hair. I'm lucky and it's easy to work with and always winds up styling fine with a little pomade (or nothing.)
I dont pay much attention to my haircuts and am always happy with what I leave with regardless of where I go. So the service is usually the most important thing to me when I do get a haircut. I've gone to the same chain in my neighborhood for about 10 years because it's the cheapest and have been satisfied other than some customer service issues a few times over the years. And for the other approximately 25 years of my adult life I had gone to cheapest and closest to where I was the moment I needed it cut.
My wife told me to go to Madhatters because she had a coupon. It happened to be a Saturday and I was actually pretty far behind on my haircut and it needed to be done. I stopped in not knowing they do haircuts by appointment as a rule. I thanked them and was going to probably never return because after I got my hair cut somewhere else, I wouldn't be due for my next until after the coupon was expired. That was a thought I had, not something said out loud as an angry/upset customer.
Before I could leave, the lady behind the counter asked me to hold on a moment, spoke to a couple of the stylists and told me if I didn't mind waiting a few minutes, they'd get me in. I was in a chair within 5 minutes. I then proceeded to get THE BEST haircut I have ever had. The lady who cut it, Josie, was awesome. She was professional, polite, funny, perfect amount and level of conversation (sometimes they get real deep and personal with their own things or the things they ask about their customers, which to me is incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional.) AND she gave me the best. damn. haircut. With a coupon! When I paid the discounted price I asked how much it was normally and to my surprise, for a basic cut like I got, the regular price is 1$ more than the cheapest chain. I'm an established customer now, have been back a couple of times and so happy I started going here. I never thought I cared all that much about my haircuts until now. At 46 years old I've just come to appreciate getting a quality haircut by a professional. I'll be going back as long as there's hair on my head.
