WUNDERBARR!
Slower than normal service I'd suggest, however, because I called over tea-time, that can be forgiven. Friendly server. Order correct, with delicious home-made chippy pasties, decent chips and 'chinese style' curry sauce. All-in-all a tasty wee 'chippy tea' ????
My husband ordered a zinger burger, chip and a chicken wrap. Waited 30min, was told the chicken was a bit thick and they didn't want to give us food poisoning!! Now the wait was enough of a hindrance but to say this. Just put us of our food....
Came here with my dad aunt and uncle for the first time today. Food was beautiful. They where very impressed with the cod, I loved the fry. Nice friendly staff. Would highly recommend
Outstanding service food very good.. Def worth a try
Usually this would have been an easy five stars but this latest visit was disappointing. The fish bites were encased in a thick stodgy batter, my friend ended up peeling it off and leaving it on the side of the plate. The chips looked as though they were yesterdays and had been reheated. My meal was scampi and it was up to Lynn's usual excellent quality. Service was excellent as usual. So why the 3 stars? Well 1 was taken off for the disappointing food but the other is more subjective and possibly something that cannot be rectified. There was no atmosphere, staff stood in silence in the cooking area, there none of the workplace banter and laughter which always makes me smile and think that this is a good place to work. Usually there is a lot of chatter from the tables but this evening it was order, eat, leave. I will take this visit as an aberration and still go back to Lynn's and recommend it and hopefully it will be back to its best next time.
Great quality food with large portions. I recommend the gravy. It's to die for.
Good food would order from there again sometime.
Odd that they wrap their food up in so many sheets of paper.
