It is my first time in Luxury nails. I totally feel happy and satisfy with their services. The staff were so friendly, well supported me and my manicure has never been gorgeous like this. So highly recommend Luxury nails to everyone.
I’m so disappointed! I came to Luxury Nails on a girls day out with my 7 year old daughter and 12 year old niece while visiting family in the UK from Australia.
I did a full set of acrylics with shellac - I wanted a design but changed technicians 3 times in the visit and the last one couldn’t speak English so sadly ended up with completely different nails to what I wanted??!!
We were frequently left alone and waiting while other customers were prioritised! It took hours!
Then my young girls asked for one shellac colour and tiny white flowers on their nails…. White dots with a stick and polish I could have done at home! I have had these done in Bali for £2 on hands and feet! They did love them but obviously- it was exciting for them!
When we finished I was told they only accept cash - I thought nothing of this as I had £180 with me for the day which was to include lunch and bus fare! I was absolutely shook when they charged me almost £200 - with my two little ladies nails costing £45 each!!!!!!!!
The technician argued the work was nail art and very detailed!!!!! It was white dots that would have took all Of 5min to apply but for us over a 4 hour process as they just kept saying yes to people coming in! 24hours later and the £45 shellac is now peeling off!!
Suffice to say I am devastated and have now eaten a huge chunk into my holiday budget leaving a sour taste for sure! I am hopeful they didn’t do this to me because they know I was a “foreigner”!
Just make sure you get prices ahead of time people and if I was you…. Go elsewhere! The local salon in Frome near my accommodation charge £10 for my daughters nails….
Really beautiful nails, quick service, good price, lovely nail techs. Overall a really great experience! Also students- on Mondays & Tuesdays you get 10% off!
Horrendous, three of my fingers were cut with scissors when removing the cuticle causing my nails to bleed throughout and even after the service. Still charged me full price, had to go somewhere else to remove them the next day as to make sure I didn’t get an infection. Asked about a refund and was told I had to go through insurance?
TOOK 3 HOURS, BAD QUALITY, HARASSED US IN THE STREET i wish i could give less then one star, we were sat in the shop for 3 hours for a full set of acrylic, when we complained how long it was taking they said the tip design was very detailed, i could have done it myself and was tempted to, my friend missed her train home, the overall result is messy wonky and unprofessional. in some cases you can even see my natural nails poking out the side, the lady couldn’t even glue the tips on and had to ask her colleague to take over, i had 4 different people work on my nails and was made to feel like i was the problem, i felt very uncomfortable.The staff are rude and didn’t talk to you at all, they sanded my fingers a couple of times and gripped my hand so tightly then told me to relax??? this service cost £50 each!! worst of all we headed to the cash point to pay and was CHASED DOWN THE STREET AND SHOUTED AT that we had to pay via bank transfer immediately. the nails were nothing like we asked for so we managed to get it discounted but they only do student discounts on mondays and tuesday?? after being forced to pay for a horrible service we were then STOPPED AGAIN on our way home claiming we hadn’t paid when she had watched us bank transfer infront of her
Love coming to this salon. The service is great, always so friendly and welcoming. The actual quality of my nails every time I come is always at such a high standard. Will never go to another salon!! :)
I had a great beauty experience at Luxury Nails & Beauty. If I have a special occasion, I will come back here for a nice manicure
