So I called before going the girl was super sweet. The owner I believe went and told me to go to the back so i went and legit wasn’t acknowledged. The smell of hair dye was so strong I left after 5 minutes of waiting. The owner said don’t leave and they wet my hair. The hair cut was quick.. Just wish it was a better hair cut. I still have split ends :( I was told a price on the phone and when I was getting charged I was told another price. Oh well I got my hair cut after all
Sandra the stylist here is amazing. She was a great listener. Made sure my hair stayed healthy and I love my hair.
I have had so many bad experiences at hair salons in the area but this place is golden. The take their time to listen when it comes to the type of haircut you want. The staff are friendly and ask plenty of questions throughout the process to give the haircut.
I took my son in after the first visit because they won me the first time.
The most unprofessional salon I ever been to. The owner shows up about 40 mins late for my appointment and doesn't even apologize. Then leaves my hair with bleach on for Hours. I was in the salon for about 5 hours or longer For highlights and color. My hair is ruined and over processed as is never been before elsewhere. They burned my scalp and said that was normal that it's supposed to burn that bad. Wish I’d known better. I had scabs peeling of my scalp days after. not sure if its cheap products they use or the fact that she did like at least 5 ppls color and hair while she had me just sit there. Then they charge more $ for a treatment that supposed to help but did nothing for my hair. Real professionals check more often every 20 mins or so to make sure it doesnt damage hair unnecessarily but you can't it expect that from this place, someone checked on me once the whole time I sat on a chair before they even put me under the heat well over an hour later. They are more concerned about making more $ than anyone's hair. Did it even do the highlights and balayage which she charged more money for, it looks totally different. Wish I listened to all the bad reviews I read and never went. Can't even get my healthy hair back, been trying best treatments...hope this helps someone avoid this place and save their healthy hair.
I’ve been going here for about 2 years and go every 4-6 months for a trim. Sometimes I do layers and sometimes just a straight cut. This place always leaves my hair feeling so nice and looking healthy! They always cut at the length that I ask for, not more not less. I’m very quiet and don’t speak much to the stylists but they are polite and respectful. I would recommend this Beltsville location for sure, I LOVE the way my hair looks everytime I get it trimmed here. Not overpriced nor underpriced, average pricing. I do not dye my hair and I’m glad these people do what you ask for without pressuring you about the other services they offer (coloring, highlights, styling , etc) like they do at other hair salons.
Again, I never ask for a specific stylist but they always do a great job here! My hair feels AMAZING and soft after the hair washing& trim!
I had a appointment with krissia . She just did my consultation and had another lady apply the chemical. The end result of the color was very spotty but she said it was because my hair was dark when I first came in . She never told me my hair would come out spotty . At the end she also told me my hair would turn dark in some days . If she would have told me it would be spotty and turn dark from the start I wouldn’t have got the service done .
I gave this salon location a second opportunity. My first experience was about four months ago I called ahead and made an appointment, walked into the salon, all the hairdressers were busy. There was no sign in sheet so I sat down. Nobody bothered saying good afternoon, or welcome. I waited more than an hour before anybody even came up to me to ask me what I needed. I was very satisfied with my hair and a free treatment they offered. Today I called at around 12 noon to make an appointment for my friend and I for 4:30 PM. On the phone the lady did not even ask our names for the appointment all she said was OK you guys can come in. We arrive to the salon at 4:32 PM and everybody seem to be busy they told us to take a seat within 10 minutes they had washed our hair and again made us wait I ended up leaving the salon at 5:20 after waiting for a little less than an hour. I did ask if I owed anything for the wash but I was told no so I left. It is ridiculous the amount of waiting that you have to do at the salon where you made an appointment. I highly recommend the Wheaton location 10 times better more attentive personnel. I will be going only to the Wheaton location from now on. I gave 2 stars bc they do treat you well once you're seated.

Yo le di 2 oportunidades a este local (suelo ir al de Wheaton). Mi primera experiencia fue hace como 4 meses. Llame antes de ir para hacer cita. Cuando llegue todos estaban ocupados y me vieron entrar pero nadie me dijo Buen Día o bienvenida así que tome asiento. Espere más de una hora antes que alguien siquiera me saludara. Ya cuando me sentaron me ofrecieron un tratamiento. Quede encantada. Hoy llame como a las 12 del mediodía para dos citas una para mi y otra para mi amiga para las 4:30. La muchacha en el teléfono ni siquiera me pidió el nombre para quien era la cita solo me dijo "si claro venganse". Llegamos a las 4:32 y todos estaban ocupados. Nos sentaron. Y como a los 10 mins nos lavaron el cabello. Me fui del salón con cabello mojado a las 5:20 por tanta espera. Les pregunté si debía algo por el lavado me dijiero que no y me fui. Es sinceramente ridiculo que alguien llame para hacer cita y que no respeten eso. Mil veces recomiendo el asking de Wheaton. Le doy 2 estrellas porque ya cuando te han sentado té tan buena trata.
I walked in and was completely ignored because I didn't speak Spanish. A lady literally right next to me got immediately acknowledged and serviced while I was left standing at the door confused. Discrimination 100%.
