I hadn’t been to this barbershop in over two years, and in the interim I’ve been to probably a dozen different shops that charge 2-3x as much for the same or worse cuts. It’s been about 3 weeks since someone else cut my hair, and as soon as I sat down, the barber said; “medium skin fade?” He’s the only one that’s ever guessed my cut, and he did one hell of a good job cutting it! If you want a good cut and friendly service, then Kim’s Top Barber Shop is a STEAL. They’re cash only, so plan accordingly, and don’t forget to tip!
Mr. Kim is the best barber on JBLM in my opinion. Same price as the PX (cash only tho) , but way less wait and way better results. He’s always super friendly and overall a great barber who will give you the exact haircut you want ! ???????????????? the pic doesn’t do the fade justice , I definitely recommend going!
Mr. Kim is highly skilled and very technical!!! I love his fades. Price is unbeatable with top quality. I've been here since 2013 and regret not finding this place sooner. Give him a visit.
First time going to this barbershop I had a good experience. The barber was very meticulous and nice. The next time I go in (expecting to get the same quality service) I get a high fade on one side, and a low fade on the other. The barber took a phone call during my haircut which is no big deal, but completely neglected the other side of my head while rubbing the top of my head during her call, making it seem like she was doing something.

Military haircuts all look the same on the outside, but there are definitely differences.
So, when I just moved to JBLM, I went through all the barbershops looking for a satisfying haircut.
The barbershops in PX & shoppette were not bad, but sometimes I thought it would be much better to cut my hair myself.
And I finally found Kim’s Top Barber Shop. It was the best skin fade I’ve had in this joint base.
Every haircut was satisfying, and I enjoyed the time in his barber shop.
He was absent for almost a year, but he came back last month.
Do you need a fresh fade? Mr. Kim's got you covered.
He is the best barber in JBLM.

Honestly the best haircut you’ll get on base and highly competitive with the surrounding barbershops off-post. Great value for your money. He treats all his haircut like it’s the first one of the day. Very meticulous with his work and treats your haircut like his personal artwork. Always a good time!

I get my hair faded from this shop. I prefer Mr. Kim, but ALL the barbers thus far have NEVER disappointed me. Glad I found this place. ????????
