I've been twice in last 10days. Last week they pierced me, and today my daughter for her 1st ever piercing. The guys there were so wonderful with her. A real good bunch. Thank you.
Great and welcoming staff, definitely recommend this place to get piercings! No need for appointment you just come in and get it done , the wait is not long at all!! Apart from piercings it’s a gorgeous shop with lots of fascinating merchandise !!
I've had a piercing at Kathmandu previously in 2020 and all was fine - wasn't best pleased about the use of externally threaded jewellery as it does hurt more when going through the fresh piercing channel, or the use of "rock salt and warm, boiled water" as aftercare (I prefer Neilmed's Wound Wash Spray as it's sterile and less wastage) but the guy who pierced me was pleasant and had a great manner.
Went in today to enquire about a walk-in appointment - the guy on the downstairs desk was very cheerful and helpful. I made my way upstairs and asked about getting internally threaded jewellery as I was planning on a pair of piercings. The woman responded, "We ONLY use externally threaded jewellery", and the tone in which this was said made me feel like this was quite a silly request to make.
I only went in as this is something I've been thinking about for a while, but to get them today was a very last minute decision, and my normal place is closed on Mondays - the piercings I wanted also cost £25 more at Kathmandu (£65 for the pair), and regrettably, I simply don't feel the prices charged are reflected in the quality of jewellery, and on this occasion, the customer service received.
Went for my daughters first piercing, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the hygiene is uncomparable. They are also great with after care.would highly recommended going here.
I’ve been here a few times for piercings and it’s the best place I’ve ever been to for piercings, they’re professional, friendly and will make sure you know exactly how to take care with your piecing. I recommend this place to everyone who wants something pierced!! Lovely place ????

Great service, made to feel very welcome and was seen to straightaway even with no appointment made. Everything was fully explained, cleanliness was brilliant and I would definitely recommend them to anybody who asks where to go.
I have had so many piercings from here now and every time it’s an amazing experience, all the staff are really friendly and talk you through the entire process, they give you salts to clean your piercings after and all in all are just really lovely to you. I’ve read some comments about people saying it is overpriced but I really don’t think it is, I personally would rather spend more money getting pierced by a company who provides high quality piercings and a calming environment then paying a cheap price for a half arsed job. I don’t think I would feel comfortable getting a piercing from anywhere else. Amazing experience every time
