First time at K-top and it was great! I cut my chest-length hair short and got a c-curl digital perm for the first time. The photo doesn’t do my hair justice but I’m v satisfied w the results :) Jenny did my hair. She was very nice and even bought me a drink.

I went to see Nicole Kim and she did amazing… my hair is a pride piece for me especially considering my profession and I used to like Jenny, but then she retired, so I went to try out a couple of the other gals, but after two cuts, I was about to dismiss this place all together, my hair in general is especially difficult to deal with, but when I was about to finally leave this shop, I met Nicole, she cut my hair and I could tell, she is a professional that should be charging more. I was a male runway model and from what I saw, Nicole should be charging more for these cuts, her work would be around $100-$200 at best. She has quite a lot of skill for someone working in a shop, she may even be as good as the stylist that would handle our hair before the runs. Nicole is now the only stylist that I will visit in this state (I have travelled all over the world and have only 1 stylist in each state US and 1 stylist each country International).

Followed my barber Nicole Kim to her new salon. She is one of the most consistent professionals I know and have been getting cuts from her for over a year now. If you’re looking for a barber with over a decade of experience and who knows what she’s doing/what the customer wants, look no further! K-top salon is not in the most ideal location and it’s easy to miss BUT you will not regret getting your hair styled here I promise :)

Also, price is reasonable! One of very few places that don’t overcharge.

What a great salon! Everyone is very welcoming, the atmosphere is super relaxed. I’ve been here twice already, once for a haircut and second for a highlight/balayage and Ian and his team has done a phenomenal job! He is amazing.. very, professional, friendly, and pays a lot of attention to detail. Will make sure you leave feeling happy with your hair! Would definitely recommend to any of my friends!

Today I’m a new person who won’t have headaches, neck n back strains n anxiety from the matted hair pulling on my head because Nicole, owner Ian, Erica n Alma worked on my matted hair. This is my first experience with K Top Hair Salon n 3 miles from my home. Erica was so sweet to give me a 10 am appointment today as I just called yesterday n as our new year arrives.

So pleased with the outcome n shorter hair too. Everyone in this facility is friendly n helpful to customers n their co workers. K-top has a new hair stylist and she is awesome! Nicole is a very talented and experienced hair stylist. She is very patient and takes time to listen and understand her clients' needs. Nicole has been my hairdresser for the last 3 years for my monthly coloring, quarterly deep conditioning treatments and an occasional scalp treatment. My hair has gotten better under her care and always feels soft and silky after every hair appointment with Nicole.

Horrible air cut by Jenny. It’s nothing similar to the picture I showed her! She kept thining my hair with a blade, completely ruined my hair. The two sides are not even same length!

Jenny has cut, colored and highlighted my hair with amazing results. I’m so happy I found her in Irvine to do my hair!
