Maria and Heather were absolutely heaven !!!! I recently had a car accident and had some sores after the accident so once they healed i decided to see if I could handle the work to be done to my head so I called and scheduled a appointment came in and told them my concerns and they gave the best TLC I’ve had done . Absolutely in love with this location ????
This salon gets a Thumbs up! I had an emergency and needed to leave town. My regular stylist was booked. So I called this location and she had a opening. If I could rate it with 10 stars I would. I was greeted with a professional hello and great smile. The place is clean and welcoming. I didnt't have to wait to be serviced she took me on time. I received one of the best shampoos and silk presses I ever had. My hair was not manipulated or over heated. I received enormous amounts of compliments. Let's say I've already booked my next appointments!
AVOID THIS HAIR SALON !! No stars for me! Culture Vulture! I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THIS SALON WAS SOLD TO HER. Meaning she most likely did not change the name of the salon. My grandma who use to go to this salon had told me the owner had sold it. PS. I didn’t consult w.my grandma before going.— which is the only reason why i even took the time In trying it out.HERE IS A SNEAK PEEP OF WHAT THR OWNER SAID ALONG WITH HOW SHE TREATED ME IN SHORT. This place is not serviced by a true Dominican . The only lady that works there who is Dominican is a lady who does not even own the salon and is working for a Caucasian lady who does not know how to lay down my curly natural hair.
This salon is over priced for work ethics that do not even show worthy of paying.. just for a wash she was charging $25 . That did not include roller set or blower .
I’d like to also express the interaction I had with the owner; was very unprofessional. She spoke to me with such a negative demeanor and was not understanding nor apologetic about her false advertisement. According to the owner, Jasmine is her daughter and she is married to a Dominican man . I do not agree with the fact that she is using my cultural background to advance herself with customers and fooling those who do not know what a true Dominican hair salon experience looks like. I would of had more respect for her if she would to take down the word Dominican and leave it as “Jasmine hair salon.
I had an amazing experience at your salon. The owner Heather did an amazing job with my hair. I loved my color and deep treatment she gave me. Her cut and style was perfect as well. Also, I love how she didn't get the color all over me. I would definitely recommend your salon and would coming back soon. Thank again for an wonderful experience.
Amazing service . I went in for a cut and Dominican blow out and I loved it ! The owner Heather did my hair and she did amazing. Will be my salon home ! Definitely recommend. The owner and employees are very kind and professional.
Prior to going to this shop my hair was shedding, breaking and a little dry. I received two shampoo's and a relaxer from here and my hair is shinny healthy bouncy and full. It is a first come first serve, but you will not spend all day sitting in the salon. There are NOT any hidden fees as the prices are explained before the service. The owner has been doing hair for over 30 years and her work is speaking for itself. I recommend this shop to anyone who want to grow their hair long and healthy or if you just want to keep it healthy better yet if it's not healthy she will get your hair healthy.
My daughter is three years old and does not like getting her hair done, her hair is very curly and hard to manage. The staff was very professional and helpful they were understanding and managed to get her hair straightened and styled beautifully for picture day. I would definitely recommend anyone to this salon. I called around everywhere and no one would take her because she is so young. Thank you so much for y’all’s help!!! We will see y’all next month.
Dominican Sugar is the best salon I’ve been to in this area. The customer service is great, and I ALWAYS leave with my hair looking fabulous. When I first started coming here, my hair was very damaged and thin. After coming here consistently, my hair beacame healthy and full. They use high quality products that work very well. Lastly, the prices are much better than other salons in this area. Highly recommend!
