The lady who did my nails was not very friendly and didn’t say anything to me besides asking what shape I wanted. That’s fine and I don’t expect a full conversation but a nice “how are you today” would’ve been nice. Then, I showed her an image of the design I wanted and it isn’t even remotely close to what I showed her. One of my nails is crooked and is pointing a different direction than my finger. I’ll add images of what I asked for and what I received. She also didn’t make the french tip far down enough to cover my natural nail lines. Overall, the nails are not what I asked for, are crooked, and are super thick.
I called around to a few places that I found on google so I could go get a quick manicure while my son was at wrestling practice. I never get my nails done so I wasn’t sure if I needed an appointment. I called 5 places that didn’t pick up before I called innovation nails. The nice lady on the phone said “just come on in!” So I went and when I got there, I got such a pleasant greeting from her and she remembered me from the phone. The salon is super pretty and very clean as well. She set me up with a nail tech named Cece and she was EXCELLENT! So kind, did a great job and got it done quickly. I’m so glad none of the other salons picked up the phone when I called because otherwise I wouldn’t have ended up here! It’s now my favorite and any time I’m in Salem, I’m coming in to get my nails done by Cece!
I made an appointment for 4 pm. When I got there, I got told to pick a color and sit in the manicure chair. Well, the lady didnt even come do my nails done until 4:40. (I was only getting a gel manicure with no polish removal or anything) The manicure took less than 10 minutes to complete, was rushed, and really thick. My thumb nail polish peeled off less than 48 hrs later, and less than a week later, they all started to peel.
Always great service. Nails always turn out great. Owner is super sweet.
This nail salon is amazing. This is the first place I’ve been where my nails actually last a full month. The staff are wonderful and super friendly. Most of my visits have been as a walk in and I never feel like they’ve rushed me through.
I love coming here. They are the best and nicest nail salon in the Roanoke and Salem area. Twee is the owner. She is fair and honest. Up front with her prices. I won’t go anywhere else!!! Highly recommended ????
Absolutely loved this place! I was visiting from out of town and my sister in law recommend them. I got lucky since they’re so busy and I was able to walk in. My nails were done in under an hour, the environment was so friendly, and my nails turned out amazing. I will definitely be back every time I visit.
I went for a gel manicure Thursday evening. I gave the one star because the place itself was really nice, appealing and relaxing. However unfortunately I was disappointed with my nails. They looked great that night and the next day. But by Saturday, the gel started peeling off of my nails! I tried to ignore it but hair would get caught under it and they only got worse! I was hoping they would at least last a week! But I only made it to day 5 until the peeling bothered me so much that I decided to just take them off. (They came off in one piece very easily) Just a little disappointed and frustrated that the quality was not there.
