I’ve just had the most lovely service in here, from a true gentleman.
They unfortunately don’t take card payment and I’m always relying on using my phone to make payment. I ran back to the car to dig around for any spare cash that may have fallen down the seats ????
I found a couple of coins but not enough to pay for what I’d ordered.
The gentleman was so sweet and said I can drop in the rest when I next pass by. I honestly couldn’t believe how kind he was and honestly, I’d have just cancelled the order but I didn’t want to take away my business for the sake of being a cashless customer.
Instead, I gratefully accepted his offer and I will of course drop in with the outstanding amount, as well as return to order more now that I’ve tasted the chips- they’re the best, proper chip shop chips that I’ve had in years!
In the meantime, I hope that this review will encourage many more customers to eat from Harry’s. Just remember it’s cash only ????
Excellent fish and chips. Delicious but slightly large portion of chips. I struggled to finish it and so some chips thrown away.
Service was very good and fast.
**Only one negative is that they only accept CASH which is a bit inconvenient for people like me who does not carry cash anymore. But there is a cash machine not too far from this shop **
The worst takeaway shop I've ever been to, had a cod fish was oily disgusting was like fried 10 times, asked for a fork the look he gave me like horrible, after I finished eating asked him where to put the rubbish if he can take it, he told me it's across the road use the outside one which was surprising. Never again
