This is my new go-to salon. I highly recommend this place. It is clean, modern, and the staff is super friendly and skilled. If you are looking for an excellent hair cut and styling this is the place for you. My hairdresser is Jenny, and she did an AMAZING job! I felt leaving like a million bucks.

I love my haircut! I’ve been salon hopping for a couple years trying to find one I love and I finally found it! I happened upon Hair Peace through a Google search, saw that they had good reviews and they were open on a Monday (which is a big plus because my day off from work is Monday and not many salons are open). They had a last minute cancellation so they were able to see me same day.

Kelly was my stylist and she was amazing! I only got a haircut (plus shampoo and blow dry) but she asked me a lot of questions about what I wanted and what look I was going for. She kept me informed through the whole process and explained why she was cutting my hair certain ways and what she was trying to achieve. I never felt like it was a “trust the process” situation ???? She was very thorough, friendly, knowledgeable, and really took her time. I didn’t feel rushed through. She also didn’t pressure me into buying any products or additional services which was nice.

Hair Peace is affordable, clean, and modern. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I encounter and will be coming back!

Yesterday I had my first appointment at Hair Peace! My stylist was Kelly! My hair was a calico color mess, on top of a bad hair cut and self trimming! Kelly spent a long time making sure my new color was perfect! I swear it’s the best color I’ve had in 10 years! We had to cut quite a bit but she did a great job and now I have awesome color and amazing curls! I absolutely loved Kelly, a master style and colorist as well as a kind soul. I highly recommend her!!!!

This was my first time going here. I have has trims in past years but needed a good cut since my curly-wavy hair has been unmanageable for a few years. Tired of wearing it up. I was very nervous. After 5 minutes discussing my goal with Kelly- I felt very relaxed. Throughout the appointment Kelly explained everything she was going to do, the reason, and made sure I was comfortable with the entire process. I am thrilled with my curly cut- my Husband and Mom love it also and said it makes me look younger! Jessica also fit me in for an eyebrow wax and tint. I had not done a tint before but love it as my eyebrows barely show. This was also the first time I had an eyebrow wax that was not painful! I also have Rosacea and Jessica suggested a product line to try and the spa she uses for facials that help with this issue. I am so thankful I did not chicken out and cancel. Hair Peace is very clean, they have it decorated and laid out so it is beautiful and comfortable. The “ icing on the cake” is that every person I encountered working there was friendly and very helpful.

I met with a stylist and explained that I hadn't had a professional cut in several years, that I've been flat-ironing my hair for decades and I'm happy with it, but it is very frazzled, needs some fresh ends and in the humid summer months, the curls are out of control so I really needed a style that would work both straight and curly.

My stylist was so understanding and confident at the consultation, I left really feeling that we were on the same page.

At the appointment a week later, it kind of felt we were starting over, meeting for the first time. I reiterated I needed a style I could wear both straight or curly, but suddenly she was doubting her plan, said she'd hate to charge so much for a "Custom Curly Cut" and end up giving me something I wouldn't like when straight. She then decided I was going to leave that day with my hair styled for curly.

She did a little snipping in the back and spent 20 minutes squishing leave-in products in my hair, sat me under the dryer, then fluffed me up. She said I should live with it curly for at least 4 days, which I did, and then I washed and blow dried my hair, which is when I was able to see what was done. I realized she actually did no styling whatsoever, just took 3" off straight across the back (when I repeatedly said I don't want straight across), which when dried and flat-ironed is just long enough to make my hair flip up at my shoulders like Mary Tyler Moore, and didn't touch the sides at all, so they're still raggedy with years of split-ends.

The "Custom Curly Cut" was $92 but I had a $20 off coupon, and I also bought $62 in product, then I tipped her an additional $20.

I didn't see the itemized receipt via email til I'd left and then I noticed I was also charged $18 for the product she used during styling. ???????? I've never heard of a salon doing that.

Almost everyone was very nice, the salon was immaculate and comfortable. Unfortunately I don't feel what I had done justified $110 for the service.

Kelly did a magnificent job on my curly cut & style. She was super sweet and knowledgeable. My hair looks great and I see a curl pattern I haven't seen in YEARS. My hair is bouncy, and has the prettiest curls. One big problem I face with hair stylists and having curly hair is layering. She layered my hair in a way that can only be obtained with a specific dry cut method and it came out wonderfully. I was afraid I'd never be able to have layers and she proved me wrong. She listened to all my concerns and gave solutions and then taught me which products worked best on my hair type and how to solve my hair problems the best way possible then turned around and put it into action. If you have curly hair you've given up on, look no further than here. Thank you so much!
