I'm actually quite upset that I have to write this review because I have been a loyal customer of the store owner, even prior to this new business opening. As mentioned in prior comments on “Yelp” by other unhappy customers, I felt as if I was being followed around the store. In a span of 4 minutes, I was asked twice if I needed assistance. This is unacceptable and creates an uncomfortable shopping experience. I did not even continue to shop for what I needed as I felt HIGHLY uncomfortable being watched and followed from isle to isle. I am honestly very disappointed to have had this experience and regretful of the amount of people I have referred to this business. So much for traveling 30+ minutes just to show support!
For future reference, it is advised to greet your customers nicely, avoid asking MULTIPLE times if they need help, and NOT follow them around the store (it's VERY obvious).
I will NOT be coming back!

I learned about this beauty supply a few years ago while visiting another that was in the same shopping center. A customer told me that there was a Black beauty supply in the same shopping center. I don't frequent beauty supplies but whenever I need one I go there first and I tell other people about it. It is most important to me to keep this beauty supply growing and flourishing because it is a black business and this beauty supply services mostly all blacks. The owner seems to be a kind and wonderful man. Every one of his staff is so kind. Every time I have been there is always some type of Gospel / Christian music playing. The atmosphere in here is wonderful. Please continue to use this salon and please tell everyone about it. Explain to them how we must support each other even if we have to drive a little further or pay $1 more at times as opposed to let's say Marshalls or something where they think they're getting a better deal. There is no better deal than investing in yourself, meaning investing in yourself your people your culture. To whoever owns this beauty supply please keep up the good work and God bless.
Hello when I was on Long Island my I found fox on grand the people are very nice they play Gospel Music all the time so if you’re feeling down when you walk in there you won’t leave sad the prices were good for me ice and clean respectful helpfu I’m from Miami Florida I was visiting my mom but she died the day before my birthday I would like to know do you all do shipping? Literally just walked out of the store with my boyfriend with pure disgust. Went in there to purchase a bonnet and was ambushed by what appeared to be top flight security, a heavy set balding salt and pepper hair colored male. He followed us through out the store the entire time watching our every move as if we were stealing. Very insulting to say the least. Even as my boyfriend was paying he kept jumping as if he was expecting my boyfriend to pull something unpleasant out. He asked if we needed help and I loudly and clearly said no but he proceeded to follow still. This is one of the most unpleasant shopping experiences I’ve had in a while and at the hand of my own black people is even more disgusting. How are we supposed to be better as a people if this is how we behave towards each other. I normally never write reviews but I couldn’t believe what was happening so I had to speak up. They should be ashamed of themself
The most perfect beauty supply store experience I have ever encountered. Gia, the young lady at the counter was patient with the 25 questions I had to make sure I got exactly what I needed. She even made a call to someone to make sure I bought the right equipment for the use I needed as I was very specific with it's intended use. Then she walked me through the store to show multiple products that would meet the needs I had and gave me choices. Clean well organized staore with excellent customer service...why would I go anywhere else!? See you for our next supply need. Thank you.
Owner and staff are welcoming, professionally and polite. They have all the hair products I need and know their products very well when it comes to recommendations for adult & kids hair. I will definitely be returning.
