Where can I start?! When i tell you I have been to a Plethora of barber shops and when I say NONE OF THEM and I mean “NONE OF THEM” compare to the vibes Hector brings in his family barbershop. Not only that Hector is a strong wise man if you have any problems all I can say is a haircut turns into a mini therapy session ????????????. I have counted on him since I was 13 years old for the most prestigious cuts from my Prom cut ,to the cut I got for my first job,to the cut I got for my engagement ,and to the cut I got for when my daughter was being born. I could always rely on Hector for the most crisp edge up and the best fade known to mankind. I can tell you he makes “Edward scissor hands” look like a 5 year old trying to cut his hair for the first time ????????????.He specializes in sanitation, before I found Hector and first impressions every shop I went to left me with a crooked edge (because I have a funny edge line) and Razor Bumps. Since I’ve been getting my fresh-cuts from First impression I have never had razor bumps a day again in my life. Thank you ???????? Hector (First Impressions) for always being there for me and my Fresh-Cuts ????
I’ve heard about this place before and I wanted to try it out, and I was not disappointed! The atmosphere in it is amazing and the end results made me happier with a haircut then I’d ever been! I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to try out a new barber shop or even looking for a new place

Manly men come here for the classic barber shop experience. Hot towel shave, fades, and standard cuts. Senior discounts and style designs. Come by and get a cut, hang out with the guys! Right next to Christo's on the corner of 1st.
I've been looking for a regular haircut but everyone wants to "style" me nowadays. I noticed First Impressions recently in downtown Sanford and gave them a shot. June was friendly, professional and knew what I was looking for. He even took care of my lifelong cowlick that nobody else ever could. This $9 first time customer haircut is the best I've had in years. And with a senior discount just months away I'm certain I've found my new barbershop. Thanks.
I checked this place out for the first time today. I have horrible anxiety when I get a hair cut at a new place (been butchered way to many times in my life). I called and I was lucky that they had an opening, got me right in. I had Brian and he did a fantastic job, was a really chill guy and gave me the best hair cut I’ve ever had. I told him how I usually style my hair and that I needed a modern cut (and I told him how most places end up giving me a muffin top, never fails). He absolutely nailed it, no muffin top, clean straight lines. I found my new spot for a cut, you’re the man Brian, you have a new loyal customer.
I got a lot of compliments from my coworkers and from my g/f for my hair cut. It was a top notch fade and the attention to detail was there. I like the family friendly atmosphere! I even got to see a mother and father bring there son in for his first haircut and it was really special. They did a great job with the kid and he got to sit on his mom's lap the whole time. The best was his little bother who said, "Wow!, you look like a new person I barely recognise you now!" A Great place for adults and kids alike!
We Love First Impressions. Lonnie has been cutting my son's hair for years. He's great with kids and incredibley patient. My son always looks forward to going to see him. All the staff are friendly and professional. Its definitely a guys environment, but family friendly at the same time. I highly recommend this shop.
