The lady was very unprofessional she was already mad when I got there. I still proceeded to do my nails then I told her I was doing gel in my feet which she told me at the beginning it was 20$. she started and never put my feet in water. I said wait you not gonna clean my nails politely. She said no she doesn’t have time and I have to pay more with an attitude. She was so unprofessional I told her it’s okay she doesn’t have to do my nails anymore. she told me to pay 10 dollars. When I was leaving she started cursing little did she know I speak Spanish . Mind you I paid 65$, 55$ for a short acrylic set and 10$ dollars for my feet which she didn’t do anything. I have never experienced that. If you black I do not recommend.
This is not fashion...Don’t waist your money here. She filed my skin off! I was there for hours and had the most awe full set in history! Plus they still made me pay and would not fix it bc they were closing. The owner could care less. They wanted me to come back. Oh, but I will come back for my refund! ... I had to go elsewhere to get this fixed.
I was verbally attacked and told to go somewhere else if I couldn’t be patient. Wow first oh all I’m an adult. They are rude to black women they talk nasty to you. If you ask questions they get very defensive and tell you that you can go somewhere else. How freaking disrespectful is that. I felt like they were trying to argue with me two of the employees started getting loud telling me I can go elsewhere. That’s exactly what I did. Black women or women of color be aware. You have been warned. It’s about the money and not professionals rendering a service. I really felt afraid because they became argumentative so fast so that made it clear, customers are not valued nor respected.
Last Friday I was a walk-in for shellac. I should have left; the place looked sketchy inside. Now, 5 days post shellac, the nails are coming off, the finish on the OPI color has dulled, and you can see little indentations in the paint from routine wear, after only 5 days. I would go back and request a re-do but I will go elsewhere.
Tina is great, made me feel right at home from the time I walked in, & she makes sure you leave satisfied.. this is the place to go for nails...
I was in a rush and desperately needed a pedicure. Taisha was gracious to accommodate my needs on short notice and did an AWESOME job!!! I was so impressed by her warmth and attentiveness to detail that I plan on making her my go-to #1 nail tech!!! Thank Beautiful!!! ????
Im sure on a personal level the nail techs are great. But honestly walking in and no friendly welcome, turning people away because they close in an hour which, I’m so confused about when their hours say until 6pm.... but told someone that they close on a Friday at 3pm? When you walk in to a business and feel unwelcome And actually feel like you’re bothering them is very unprofessional. Maybe they’re understaffed or maybe they need to be out early on this specific Friday... but you should be more polite about it. I try to see both sides but I have never felt so unwelcomed before. I walked in at 1:40 and was told to wait 30 min. Just to find out later on when they turned another girl away after 2pm that they close at 3pm. They didn’t even offer to let me look at nail colors while I was waiting I’m just confused. Hope they get to enjoy their Friday off. Maybe you should update your business hours as well.
The owners girlfriend Tina thinks she's better than anyone!! She forgot where she came from and that the customers are who have given her boyfriends salon the knowing it used to have. Everyone who went there before stopped going because she is plain nasty and disrespectful. Without customers this place will go out of existence. Tina needs to learn customer service skills. Tina used to have creativity & now she's dried up. She always goes on and on about the customers but she haven't seen or heard herself. She's not a grade A but she's trying with all the nip & tucked she's done lately, to apparently feel better about herself because she surely doesn't sleep well @ night, knowing what's waiting for them if they keep treating customers like they don't matter. Someone should let her know there's many salons and she can be rooted out of existence when it comes to customers letting others know where to go. They should know they came from nothing and there's where they r heading!!!!

Strengths:
1. Skill and Satisfaction - Several customers mentioned being satisfied with the services provided by Tina. She is praised for her attentiveness to detail and making customers feel at home. This suggests that at least one nail technician at Fashion Nails provides quality services.

Weaknesses:
1. Unprofessionalism and Poor Customer Service - Multiple customers expressed dissatisfaction with the unprofessional behavior displayed by the staff. This includes rudeness, refusing to fix mistakes, cursing, and being argumentative. Ultimately, this negatively impacted the customer experience and perception of the salon.
2. Lack of Hygiene and Inadequate Procedures - One customer complained that the nail technician did not clean their nails properly during a gel pedicure. This suggests that there may be lax hygiene practices and a lack of attention to detail when it comes to ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers.
3. Communication and Welcoming Atmosphere - Several customers mentioned feeling unwelcome and unappreciated upon entering the salon. They highlighted experiences of being turned away, confusion regarding business hours, and a lack of friendliness from the staff. 4. Decline in Service Quality - A comment suggests that there has been a decline in service quality over time. The owner's girlfriend, Tina, is accused of being disrespectful and lacking customer service skills. This hints at a possible lack of consistency in the quality of service provided at Fashion Nails, which can result in customer dissatisfaction and loss of reputation.
5. Bias and Discrimination - One comment specifically warns black women and women of color about potential mistreatment and disrespect at Fashion Nails. This points to a potential weakness in the salon's inclusivity and a lack of professionalism when it comes to serving customers of different backgrounds.
Overall, the strengths of Fashion Nails place include the satisfaction of some customers and the ability to accommodate last-minute requests. However, the business faces significant weaknesses in terms of unprofessional behavior, poor customer service, hygiene practices, communication, and possible decline in service quality.
