While experience was good, it felt like the woman who did my nails wasn't really friendly and seemed to rush me in and out. Got the help bc im terribly rough on my nails. Looked good for a day and a half. eyebrow wax was quick and painless and looks great.
Awful! I am actually appalled that this place has anything above 1 star. I used to come here years ago when Maria worked here - the only good nail tech out of the entire "spa" team. I honestly CANNOT call it a spa as the spa is an establishment offering health and beauty treatment with relaxing music, nice clean tools, fluffy towels, and pleasant ambiance. This place is the opposite of this. Let me start by saying that I have not been going to Vietnamese owned nail salons for a while now because they are just not relaxing, anti sanitary and the work is sloppy. I have lived in United States for 17 years and tried multiple locations starting from CA and SC, all the way down to FL - they are truly the worst of the worst when it comes to quality of work. Not cheap by any means, but rushed, unprofessional and, sadly, nail polish usually chips off within 1-2 weeks after manicure / pedicure. They have no idea how to apply a nail polish super close to cuticle as true professionals do because that would require training, licensing for each individual and extensive experience. I come from a different country and have not spoken English that well when I just moved here years ago, and I am not expecting everyone to be fluent, but I am shocked that most of the nails techs barely speak ANY English. All I needed was to remove gel nail polish that I got while I was out of the country 6 weeks ago (yes, it lasted perfectly for 6 weeks). I wanted to make sure my nails are being taken care of professionally instead of doing it on my own with a file (my regular nail tech lives by Clearwater so it is too far of a drive to just remove gel polish). I was not greeted right away, then I stood there for 3-4 more minutes while they spoke in their language trying to figure out who wants "just the nail polish removal customer". I then was taken to the middle-aged lady's extremely unorganized and filthy station. She did not say anything to me when she approached the table except for grabbing my hand and starting to remove nail polish with her old dirty tools. She poured what seemed like an ounce of acetone on each of my nails to soak them in. Not surprisingly, she then filed my nails unevenly. Not sure if it was because the entire 20 minutes I was there she was obnoxiously talking to other ladies who sat next to her in Vietnamese. Her mouth just never stopped talking - ahhhhh, the true "spa experience"! I asked to make my nails even to which she got very confused... Someone else came to finish the job and asked again if I wanted them filed evenly? Cannot even make this up if I wanted to... The absolute terrible nail salon. Will not be coming back, EVER, and would not recommend to anyone else unless you like to throw away your money in the trash.
I’ve been going to Fantastic Nail Salon for years! I’ve had the same nail tech for 7 years! I’m very picky about my nails (length and thickens) and he’s always spot on and he has never knicked me with the grinder! I would recommend this nail salon to everyone! ASK FOR TOM HES AWESOME! ????????
The nails were perfect, the eyebrows were terrible, they reused the same wooden stick each time. They wouldnt give me a refund AND they took more out of my account than what was agreed upon. This place is ridiculous.
My husband LOVES to come to Tina monthly for his pedicures. He said she leaves his feet feeling like he's floating!
I recently came home from military and wanted to find a good nail salon.I tried several in the area and settled on Fantastic Nail Salon. Pam has been doing my nails for months now. I am so pleased with my nails every time I leave there. I highly recommend this salon. I recommend Pam and May.
First visit. Within 2 days I had 2 nails broken. When back and they tried to give me a fill. Second time came with an example. I wouldn’t have stayed if I was told they could not do it. I was told it could be done right up until it was time to do them. I had no choice but to change the style with colors that were for the example I brought in. I was given not what I wanted but what they wanted me to have so they can move on to the customers that they knew. I’ll find somewhere else to spend.
I’ve been going to Fantastic Nails for over a year. Everyone is friendly and very talented. Kathy gives the best manicure I’ve ever had! She is a master of her craft.
