Best PlaceJuice Reviews

A job centre and college inside, takes away from the shopping experience. But some good shops inside too. The toilets are horrible. I've never had to que at a loo before, the urinals should get fixed. Every single one is out of order and taped off.
I was very surprised at how quiet it was on a Sunday afternoon. Felt like a ghost town and the parking closes at 4.50! So be careful or your car will be stuck there all night! Very weird!
I don't like leaving negative reviews, but rope walk is a cold, soulless building. Lots of empty shops, non-working lifts and escalators and a car park that even in this day and age, doesn't take card payments.
Such a shame its been allowed to go stagnant.
What was once a fantastic shopping centre is dwindling down to a cheap looking shell comprising of mediocre shops you otherwise wouldn't venture into. Nuneaton Council was alot to answer for as the entire town is now a dire hole. They're answer? Build a hotel and cinema (we already have these close by). Get a grip.
Warning - bring cash!
Parked up, visited the depressing ropewalk as we wanted to go Schuh & then tried to leave… tried to pay by card at the machine but must have stepped back in time as unless you have actual coins, there was no way.
So we duly trotted down the stairwell (which is fragrant in a harold & kumar kinda way) to make our way to the car park attendant’s office.
When we got there, we were shown a laminate with app details on to pay & told that ‘it says cash only at the barrier’… not that either of us had noticed that on the way in!
Registered on the godawful app, verified my payment card etc. etc. then eventually got to pay.
Tbh never again… what shopping centre in this day & age doesn’t take card?! Seriously?
No wonder half of the ropewalk shops are shut.
Not the best, the stairwells are dirty the lifts are taped up! The gents urinals have not been available since covid! Half the shops are empty and why oh why do you have a job centre in a shopping centre temporary or not
Been twice recently. Gents toilets (urinals) out of action both times, everyone had to use the cubicles, which stink, and have wet floors.
It seems the whole sorry place has been left to deteriorate: shops closed, scruffy, no realistic evidence of a willingness to maintain it. Such a shame for a small town shopping mall.
Decent enough shopping .clean with good close by parking. Most of the big players here .Coasta, Subway ,pure gym.worth a visit

Quick Facts About Ropewalk Shopping Centre

Ropewalk Shopping Centre, located in Nuneaton, has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. In this analysis, we will explore these aspects in depth.
One strength of Ropewalk Shopping Centre is the presence of a job centre and college within the complex. This shows that it serves as more than just a shopping destination, offering additional services and educational opportunities. This can be beneficial for the local community, as it provides accessibility to employment resources and educational facilities.
Another strength mentioned is the presence of good shops within the center. Although the specific shops are not mentioned, it suggests that there is a variety of retailers available, catering to different needs and preferences. This can enhance the shopping experience for those who visit the center.
However, there are also some weaknesses highlighted by the comments. Firstly, the condition of the toilets is described as "horrible" and "stinky." The mention of long queues and all urinals being out of order implies a lack of maintenance and cleanliness in the restroom facilities. This can be a significant drawback for visitors, as clean and functional toilets are essential for a positive shopping experience.
Another weakness is the perceived lack of activity and atmosphere within the shopping center. One commenter described it as a "ghost town" on a Sunday afternoon. This can be particularly off-putting for shoppers who expect a vibrant and bustling environment when visiting a shopping center. Additionally, the fact that the parking closes early can be inconvenient for those who plan to spend more time in the center, as it may result in their cars being trapped overnight.
Furthermore, the overall condition of the building is criticized, with comments referring to it as a "cold, soulless building" and "cheap looking shell." The presence of empty shops, non-working lifts, and escalators further contributes to the negative perception of the center. These factors can create an unwelcoming and unappealing atmosphere for shoppers.
The issue of payment options is also mentioned as a weakness. The absence of card payment facilities in the car park can be inconvenient for individuals who do not have cash on hand. In this day and age, it is expected for shopping centers to provide card payment options to accommodate customers' preferences and convenience.
Lastly, it is worth noting that the presence of a job centre within a shopping center is seen as a weakness by some commenters. The integration of a job center in a shopping environment may be viewed as an unusual combination, potentially impacting the overall shopping experience. The temporary or long-term presence of the job center may create an atmosphere that deviates from the traditional shopping ambiance.
In conclusion, Ropewalk Shopping Centre in Nuneaton has both strengths and weaknesses. On the positive side, it houses a job center and college, providing additional services and educational opportunities. The presence of good shops is also mentioned as a strength. However, there are several weaknesses, including the poor condition of the toilets, the perceived lack of activity and atmosphere, the deteriorating appearance of the building, the absence of card payment facilities, and the inclusion of a job center within a shopping center. These aspects may impact the overall shopping experience for visitors.
