I went here twice while working in this area. Took a chance stoping in and was very surprised by the choices on the menu. The staff was very nice , it felt like being at a relatives house for lunch. The food was cooked to order and tasted like a homemade lunch my grandma would make when I was a kid. The first day I had the Large Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries. The meat was flavorful and had a little crust on it. The bacon looked like it was cooked in an old skillet like grandma would. It was a really good meal and lunch stop. The second trip I had the Grilled Chicken Patty Melt with Fries. This was so good! I have not had a patty melt in 20 years and this one was awesome. If in the area please stop in and give it a try.
Staff was very friendly. I didn't like the food. The shrimp are the overly breaded frozen ones that you can get from any small chain grocery store. The fries are the large crinkled ones that were not fried hard enough with no salt. The Catfish filets were ok, but nothing to write home about. The coleslaw was delicious. I should have just ordered a fish sandwich topped with slaw on toasted bread.
They have a variety to choose from. From seafood to tacos to hamburgers. We always enjoy eating there.

I've eaten at the Creekbank Restaurant many times. I always look forward to visiting because of the delicious food, especially the coleslaw. I visited there earlier this evening and ordered the large whole catfish dinner, with homestyle fries. I received my delicious coleslaw pretty quickly, and ate it while me and my family waited on our meals. It was pretty busy, so our entrees took a long time to be brought out. Everyone's food finally arrived, and loiked really good, except for my catfish dinner. Instead of the homestyle fries, I received okra and a few onion rings. It was no big deal, because they were busy, and the waitress was new (but very nice). On my plate, there were 4 catfish. 3 of the four were approximately 5 or 6 inches long, and the other one wasn't much bigger. the portion size was a little small for the price, but the problem was that they were fried for so long, that they were almost rubbery, like some kind of horrible fish jerky with a tail on it. I'm now sure if there was any seasoning added, because it had been cooked so long, that it didn't even taste like fish. if we hadn't already waited so long, I would definitely have sent the order back. This was the last thing I'd ever expect from the Creekbank. In the past, I've never been disappointed with anything there. I really hope that they can get their act together (and possibly a new cook). I'm sure that I'll visit again eventually, even if only to get a quart of that coleslaw to go, but they have certainly disappointed me on that terrible catfish dinner tonight.
Good food big portions great little place
This is one of my regular stops on the way to my fish camp. It's a small place you might not notice driving 65 MPH on HWY 43. The food is cooked as you order, not frozen or out of a can. My favorite is the taco salad. My grandson usually gets the large burger and fries.
If you're traveling on HWY 43 it's a nice place to stop and eat. Everyone is friendly. This is a local favorite.
