Stopped my first time today. The lady workin was very very nice and helpful. This pet store saved my behind as I was running out of dog food and the places I could stop at from iowa to Oregon didn’t have dog food (truck stops)this store even had the brand that I feed him in stock . Was very helpful when I called to see if there was anywhere I could park my semi within walking distance. Will stop again when ever I need dog food and next time maybe I’ll get king Midas a new toy.

The best pet store in Central Oregon. Friendly and a great selection. I love their dog and cat food rewards system where you buy 10 get one free. The owner has a great memory and knows family now. So nice.

Yesterday I went in to this store to buy my dog a leash and harness type collar. My dog gets very nervous when she goes places because she assumes it is the vets office and they’re going to do something bad to her. So she tinkled on the floor. You’d think the owners of a store like this would be kind and forgiving when accidents happen. Not the older lady who works there. She proceeded to ask me how old my dog was. I responded she was just turned five, and she said, “Wow you’d think she would be done with all that!” That was her first insult to my dog. When i started fumbling through the harnesses, she just stood there and i had to ask her for help. You’d think as a pet store owner she would jump in to push her much overpriced merchandise. She finally did help and when she was watching me for her she said, “she sure doesn’t miss many meals does she?” That was the second insult she made to my dog and I. After forking over $42.95 for harness and leash, she then proceeds to tell me “well, she sure is pretty.” Wow, I told her, “that’s the first nice thing you’ve said since i worked in here!” I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what, but i felt really insulted by her and won’t go back to her store again. I’d rather drive 30 minutes to Petco in Redmond and I’m all about “buy local mentality.”
