Brought my daughter in for her first full color treatment for her birthday. Consultation with the owner went great, but unfortunately she wasn't the stylist. I chose a salon that specializes in color so that I wouldn't botch it at home. They did a great job with the bleaching, but the rest I could have just done myself. We left with a mess of splotchy uneven color. Hot pink roots with little saturation through her ends. I spent $200 for them to barely look me in the eyes while they said it "adds dimension"...we're not talking dimension, it was giant uneven splotches of orange yellow and pink. No problem letting us leave unhappy and unevenly colored. Very disappointed. I went to a salon to AVOID leaving her looking like mom botched an at-home job, just to find myself fixing it at home anyway.
It's called Color Theory now and they fo an excellent job. Besides coloring and cuts, they also offer extensions and hair treatments as well. I've been a customer since at least 2013 and I plan on staying.
This was my first visit with Colorific in Wheaton. Brittany was so friendly,professional listened very well what I needed done. I love my cut and style it's beautiful!!! I got so many compliments at work and everywhere I go!❤❤

This is one of the only salons I trust to give me great quality hair without the high pricing of other salons. I've gotten my hair done at expensive salons as well as lower priced options. This is like the best of both worlds. I trust Brittany with my hair's life and recently went to Cassandra and I would give her that same trust from now on. I've had long hair, pixie hair, platinum blonde, fashion colours, and more natural blondes all from this salon and it's always left me feeling great. Whenever I have price restrictions, I voice that and the stylists work with me to help me get to my goal within a reasonable price range. Other times I go full out and still get amazing quality and can live luxuriously. Also as someone who needs to take great care of their hair due to the aforementioned abuses I inflict upon my head, I LOVE the "do." Brand. It's vegan and cruelty free and I believe you cantstill bring your bottles in to refill them which is a more sustainable option!
Anyway. It's a good place here. Do recommend!
I always go here to get my hair colored and cut. I specifically see Ashley, but on the occasions I couldn't, the others did well also. My daughter has also seen Ashley for years and they have done some cool, funky colors. They also style hair for special occasions. They did some very cute styles for my daughter's school dances. Always a great experience.
I didn't think there was a perfect cut for me until Brittany got a hold of my hair yesterday. She understands hair type and texture and knew exactly how to cut it accordingly. Perhaps equally important is that she knew how it should NOT be cut too. Thanks so much - I love my hair again!
Brandi did a horrible job! This has been the worse hair experience i have ever went through... She bleached all of my hair and left it for a long time as well as let my hair turn orange when i showed her a completely different picture.. after i asked if she put toner, she said she did but it did not look so. Asked her to fix my hair and she said she cant do anything else to it... awful customer service! I will never go back here at this salon again. Had to get my hair fixed at another place. I would advise people to never see stylist brandi that works there.
I get my hair cut here regularly. Katie is my favorite stylist and I always get compliments on my hair cuts. She works hard and is meticulous about feathering my hair just so. You can also dry and style your own hair and apply any of a selection of products for free. They also have coffee and tea and will wash your hair. First cut is $17, then $22. And now the new Whole Foods right next door is open!
