To update Chrystal reached out to me immediately to apologize and offered to fix this and refund me. Due to my own anxiety over the experience I’m just gonna go back to the gal I’ve always used at Polaris, but I do appreciate the excellent customer service in trying to make it right.
“It’s a cute place and nice people but unfortunately I don’t think Shelby has much experience with short cuts? I went in asking for a simple trim to clean up my angled bob, and ended up with this awful chopped stacking at the back before I knew what was happening! I didnt know what to say other than “well next time I would not want it so stacked”… but there won’t be a next time. I politely thanked her, paid and left But I’ll be going to a professional salon tomorrow and I think a pixie cut is now my only option. ????”
I wanted to say thank you to everyone that had squeezed us in to do my hair for my wedding in August! The atmosphere was amazing and was a fun time. All of our updo were perfect. Thank you all for being able to get us in and work around all of your schedules.
Susan does a fantastic job. She dyes my hair two colors, and people stop me daily to compliment my hair! Best deal in town. The price is affordable. I couldn't even afford all the processes I have done at other salons. It's a friendly atmosphere and very clean.
June 17th, I went to have my hair low lights as I did before. With a couple shades of low lights. And to cover the grey. This time was horrible. Natalie gave all my hair dark ash and I showed the picture of what she did before. She said, It will fade after a few washings! It did not!!! Not what I wanted this time. My hair was blonde with low lights. I was so upset that I couldn't let her do anything else. I still paid what she charges but I want the money back or someone to do what I asked for. I drove 3 HOURS. Because I loved what was done before. I can only hope this will be fixed. I cry every time I look at this hair. Hope no one deals with this. I will call again. To see if this will be correct.

I had made an appointment for 3 pm. I arrived about 2:50. When I walked in there was 3 people in the shop. One was obviously a client and one was obviously an employee. The third was sitting in a chair talking with the employee. I was not greeted in anyway so I sat down waiting for the employee to acknowledge me. As I waited I learned that there was in fact two employees and one customer that I was observing. The 2 employees were taking about a customer that they were not fond of, talking about how she complains about the work and on and on. After several minutes the employee who was sitting got up, directed her attention to me and asked if I had an appointment. I replied yes. She asked my name, I gave it. She said that I was scheduled with the other employee and that she would be with me shortly. The one I was scheduled with was just starting a haircut on the client that was in her chair when I arrived about 10 minutes earlier. I sat there for another 15 minutes considering my experience to that point. I decided that I was not willing to accept the unprofessional attitude that I had witnessed and honestly figured when I left I'd be the client they were talking about. So with that I walked out the door, returned to my car and left.
So short message is don't waste your time.
I've gone to this salon for awhile now, always saw Mary there and she was great! Unfortunately she no longer works there and my experience with another stylist was awful.. She was nice enough, but I could tell she was in a hurry to get out of there. She took 10 minutes max cutting my hair (medium/long length and a lot of hair) did not cut it in the V shape I asked for, and when I went home and straightened it, it was blunt, choppy, and uneven. Guess if you aren't a regular customer there they don't care. Not pleased and will be going elsewhere from now on
Just had my hair cut by Chrystal. She did a great job for a fair price and she's a licensed barber! Even had advanced scheduling! MEN....this is a great local business to get your hair cut. Highly recommend vs the franchise outfits where you have to wait, often have no idea how your cut will turn out, etc.
