I had my 1st ever hair cut here at Chris Gents Hair Stylists in the mid 80s, my dad has been going there since they opened in the early 60s. I have never had a bad experience here.
Chris and his entire team always remember me and give an excellent service every time and always pay attention to detail like a passionate artist.
Chris is fast and precise yet never rushed.
I have always found all of the team very courteous and professional.
The shop is clean and tidy every time.
I also take my son here for his hair cuts and he loves it.
This gem of a traditional barber shop is the best in the area.

I was looking for a place that could do a 'scissor only' cut as I wasn't into fades any more. I had medium to long hair that was getting out of control and I needed it tamed.
Thankfully, I came across Chris Gents as my friends recommended it to me. It was also quite local to my University. I wanted a natural look - Shaq listened to what I had envisoned and gave his own advice..The outcome was exactly what I wanted.

>Location: Great - next to local shops and 2 bus stops away from QMUL.
>Atmosphere: Good - small, but doesn't smell 'greasy' or like body odour, which is a + in my books.
>Barbers: Great - Very skilled. Shaq managed to do a scissor cut in under 20 minutes I believe. That takes a lot of skill.

Been going here for 3 years, fantastic scissors haircuts at a great price.
Good barber shop and friendly. £18 for a cut, £20 for fade. A little more than I’d usually pay but was very convenient and quick.
This was my first haircut in London since I moved here, so naturally I was skeptical. However, my hair and worries were cut short after a fantastic job. The service was exceptionally friendly and the cut was great! What more could you want? I would recommend completely.
First time using Chris’s barbers after being recommended by my brother in law. Had my hair cut by Shak’s, lovely guy, I’m growing my hair so just wanted a tidy up, he knew exactly what to do without even having I tell him what to do, defo be back again. Price is actually cheaper than what you’d usually expect to pay a decent barber in London
